"Last of the Red Hot Lovers" (Simon) and "Lovers and Other Strangers" (Bologna) are favorites - I'm just wondering what else might be out there in the same vein- light, funny, wacky, and easy-to-put-together in a small area.

each and all of the aforementioned works can artwork.... yet he play i could propose is "you comprehend i can not hear You while The Water's working" by potential of Robert Anderson. There are 8 areas in entire; requiring 3 to 4 male actors and 2 to 3 lady actors If I remember wisely there are somewhat 4 short a million act performs that make up the script....as quickly as we did this as Dinner Theater years in the past, we basically did Acts a million, 2 and four. All 3 have been very very humorous...2 of which KILLED almost each and every overall performance. The staging is minimum (an workplace, a mattress save, and a front porch w/ 2 rocking chairs). the perfect act became into exciting even after one hundred+ performances... study the script...this makes for exciting, memorable dinner theater...wreck a leg!

"Harvey" is a very funny play that always gets laughs. It was also the movie, Harvey.
It doesn't require a large cast and is a simple prop/play setup. There aren't that many leads or important people.

I second the suggestion of "Over the river and through the woods". I was in that play, and it was one of the most entertaining that I've ever done..for actors and audience. Would also recommend "Cahoots".

*shameless self promotion* I know, but it's been staged in 7 countries across 3 continents so there probably is something to it.

*grin*
