I need to know where to look for talent agents
and photographers?
I have tried looking in the phone book and I called the ones in it but they were disconnected and I cant find any on the internet.
Could I find photographers that do head shots in the phone book?
Is there a web site with a list of agent? (i dont want to pay for the list though)

So even though I absolutely love that movie, our news report for history class isn't supposed to be that animated or anything ;) What's a good way to introduce a newscast for history? I can't say "today in America..." because we're reporting on 3 events completely spread out throughout history. I don't know...difficult question I guess, but if you have any advice, I'd love it! Thanks!

I know I can flesh it out and add more characterization, but I think it might just be a short film or cartoon. Is anyone aware of any screenwriting competitions that have a short script category?

most of my thespians group at school really wants to do Sondheim's INTO THE WOODS as a musical, but I dont see why

I feel that the music is weak to listen to and hard to perform

Perhaps my attitude is caused by the fact that i am a baritone and i dont like the baker's part as much as tevye's, pirate king's, harold hill's, king mongkut's, etc. but i truly dont see the appeal

plz explain why we would want to do this musical

in a couple of weeks i have an auditions for them and i wanted to know some information about them. i couldnt really find any useful information on the internet so if anyone could help me here it would be great. i had read in a website, though, that if a person goes and "makes it" then bravo doesnt really do much about it and that people might get jobs but not anything worth getting attention from any other agencies. i would just like some information; links, personal experiences anything. thanks!

I need to break into the business, but I know that in order to do that I need a good agent. Anyone know of Chicago talent agents with good reputations?

You can include advice about how to break into the business. I've been acting for six years in school theater. I'm attractive (it helps with getting an acting job.) and need good representation.

I'm thinking some sort of lightweight frame that he can just hold. Silver spandex with a slit in it - and then he pokes his head through when it's time to appear. We are limited on cash and time - but will do what we have to do.

Has anybody made a Mirror costume? How did you do it?

How many pages, in total, does a written play for drama need to be? It is an action comedy, and I hope for it to be played by a local theater house. Any estimates? I'm thinking around 70 pages or so, but if anyone knows for sure that would be a great help.

Thanks!

I'm new to this and want to start writing plays for competitions - i'm a beginner and don't expect to win but i figure it will start getting me disciplined to write and stick to deadlines. I have no idea how to gauge dialogue to fit with how long something will take to act. How is this done? many thanks to people who have done this!
