It seems that you probably want to drop out of college and focus on acting. At 19, I'm sure you realize you are an adult and can do what you want, however you must be able to support yourself and I'm sure your parents would be none too thrilled. They've likely invested quite a bit in your education and undoubtedly think this would not be the wisest move.
Where are you located? Yes, school is hard and I'm not sure what year you are but even actor's should have an education. Please consider staying in school. Remember that right now, you are probably a bit burnt out after a hard year and just need a break. Go to your mentor, your counselor, your advisor or someone who can help get you through the doubts you're feeling right now and help you sort things out. You may or may not be aware, but there are plenty of acting opportunities on most college campuses. Student films are a great training ground! Many schools have drama and musical theatre departments as well. If yours does not have anything like that, perhaps you can transfer to one that does. Check out collegeboard.com and do a college search. You can specify that the college you want must have a film department, or a theatre department, or both! You may also want to consider small liberal arts colleges. The profs have a reputation for having more contact with every student and helping them when they need it. They also have a reputation for making every student feel like part of a close-knit community.
In all honesty you don't sound ready to throw yourself into a world that's often full of harsh reality and disappointment. It takes so much to make it. You need to be able to support yourself. You need to get photos, gas money, food! Living expenses aside, you need an enormous amount of talent and luck, an agent who will take a chance on you... the list goes on. You also need to be happy with yourself. No one wants to hire someone who seems deperate.
Take some time, get some advice from people who know you and know your personal situation.
Good luck!

Okay you want to act and do not want to study? well sorry having to say this; but you have to be a darn NATURAL one to accomplish this.
Do not forget that "becoming an actor" is the same as "becoming a carpenter"; the main important thing is the love and passion you put into it - does not matter what field it is. With acting; passion is an important thing believe me; jsut like in other jobs you 'learn'certain methods of acting/ tips that can help you get into a character. But the learning NEVER stops.... as everytime you start a new production you have to learn (and I am not talking about the script); no , you have to study the character completely( his emotions/past/friends family etc) 'anything' that will help you become that person and make him true so that the audience believes that you ARE that person and just not 'play' that person.
And to answer the next bit of your question regarding your parents not wanting you to go into this filed; well it is understandable as it is a heck of a hard field to be in. You mus tnot only have talent but luck is a huge part of it too. So perhpas you oughta meet them half way: you try studying at college and in your free time you join the colleges drama department or a good amateur troupe that will help you develop what you have. And if you ARE any good well perhaps that will convince your parents as well and they will let you go to drama school. But hey you WILL have to study.
Sorry for passing thisbad news onto you.
But go for it if this is your passion

you ought to tell the persons who say you're to clever for the provider, to flow to hell. Its in basic terms like those dumb *** comments John Kerry made some years in the past. The ratio of highschool knowledgeable enlisted workers is a lot greater than the known inhabitants, and each officer is a college graduate. there are a number of clever people interior the protection stress, which you will say that any one is in basic terms too clever for the protection stress is idiotic. while you're 18, and it is what you elect to do, decide for it! F*ck what people say. Serving your us of a is honorable and no one ought to end you from doing what you elect to do. i would be watching your undergo hearken to from different answerers....i'm transforming into a member of the Marines (officer) in 2 yrs as quickly as I end college. I have been given a similar responses as quickly as I informed people i wanted meet up, and that i've got been given a 32 on the ACT, so in basic terms forget approximately each and all of the crap people inform you stable success!

With no offense at all, and in not knowing your location or cultural issues with regard to Parents/Family,,,but at 19 you have certainly passed into a level of maturity that not only should allow cognative thought, but you have become and "adult" in effect, though not of a legal age to accomplish certain things. In the USA, in a legal sense 21 allows 2 years difference in certain "Freedoms"/Rights, than does 19.
Not wanting to "study" bothers me in a general sense, as Learning should be a LIFE LONG experience, and unless you have some inate, yet undiscovered Prodigy in you; demanding to be "discovered",,, study not only affords LEARNING, but also ways to Network and become aware or various ways to be involved in the "craft" of ACTING.
If Permission is an issue then it may remain one as long as you are under parental control or guidance,,,or living in their "collective", influenced by that situation.
Interest equates to want, and often DESIRE. Acting more equates to Passion, dedication, struggle, some tolerance/acceptance/ and even compromise.
It would seem that you are on a "leash" of sorts, and perhaps by your own choosing and situation? It might be that your "culture"/Religion, views acting as an offense??? I suggest your first step be in more open communication with your parents, to determine their reasons for "NO" and if you have already, and they seem unreasonable to you, then I suggest you do continue to study, while still under their influence.
