So even though I absolutely love that movie, our news report for history class isn't supposed to be that animated or anything ;) What's a good way to introduce a newscast for history? I can't say "today in America..." because we're reporting on 3 events completely spread out throughout history. I don't know...difficult question I guess, but if you have any advice, I'd love it! Thanks!

Why not? Can you have costumes or at least different hats that represent the different periods in time? Every time you switch time periods you say, "And TODAY in America...."

If not, maybe 'And on this day in history'
Or just say "American Almanac, July 4, 1776.... "
