Hi Ally, I am in the UK so I do know what you need to do.
It's tough, as a girl you have even more problems because more girls want to act and there are fewer parts -- I'm not trying to discourage you but you have to be realistic about this.
You need to get into drama classes, there will be some in your area, try the local library for information, or http://www.amdram.co.uk/ which is sometimes up to date.
You have to get experience.
If you live in the London area you have a good chance of getting into student films which don't pay, but they are experience.
http://www.mandy.com/ and http://www.starnow.co.uk/ are two possibles, although you have to pay to be able to apply for jobs on Starnow.
The other thing to understand is that directors usually don't know what they want until they see it. If you get rejected at an audition (assuming you have some talent) it will only be because you don't fit what they want.
For support: http://www.notapushymum.com/ which is a UK site mainly for parents of acting kids but there are plenty of kids who are members as well. Lots of information about upcoming auditions and lots of support.
Good luck.

it truly is large to be drawn to all 3, it is particularly important.. on account which you spot all actors/actresses in movies, then having a CD, and modeling on the crimson carpet! Dancing is yet another element you will possibly desire to get into. My suggestion may be, to be in touch... with college performs, drama type, exterior of faculty take voice instructions, appearing instructions, dance instructions, even modeling instructions does no longer harm.. and it truly is okay in case you don't extra healthful the dimensions or height of a variety on account which you're able to do print paintings. Do as MANY performs as you may, in college, community theater and seize each and every hazard. After that, i might get an agent to start being one extra, doing categorised classified ads, pupil action pictures, and then premiere function(: stable success.

NOT in the UK I still have suggestions.
Here in the States we have Playbill.com. A site that offfers a large amount of info. though likley NOT directed to the UK. Perhaps you have something similar?
In any case, without knowing the Genre you want to involve in, I suggest any and all or the "Trades" /Craft publications you can get your hands on. So many of them advertise OPEN auditions,,,much like SIGH,,,American Idol, and its counter parts.
