I am also an actress. It just really ticks me off that i KNOW that i am a better actress than those people on soap operas but yet i cant even get a part in my cities musical! There is always someone just one step above me! P.S. Im a teenager.

Keep auditioning. Keep studying. I have been told that it takes 15 years to train a good actor. If you're a teenager, I suspect you haven't quite collected that much experience.

Maybe you should try tv instead of theatre.. I believe that the acting skill needed for tv is much less than that needed for theatre. Just my opinion
