Why when Harry uses the Resurrection Stone, as he walks into the forest, does he not see Dumbledore? He sees his parents, Sirius, Lupin (who had just died earlier?) He obviously loved and missed Dumbledore (he kept hoping it was his blue eye in the mirror).

It's been a long time since I've read any of the books, but I thought that the cruciatus curse made it's victims go insane. It's used on Hermione, though, and she's fine. Why doesn't she go insane, too?

I think Harry would be rubbed out by the goblins for busting into Gringott's and stealing their dragon. Ever have a bunch of angry goblins on your trail? Not pleasant.

I read the whole book, but who was the non-magic person who did magic for the first time? JK Rowling mentioned that there would be someone who did that but I didn't figure out who it was. Also, why was it important that Harry had his mother's eyes? Thanks so much!

I write all the time. The problem is all I write these days are posts for forum rpgs, and the quality of my writing is going kaput. My last story (book, rather) came to a standstill because I got to a point where I couldn't think of anywhere to take it. I can't seem to get inspired or motivated to start on my own new story, even though I have an idea for one. How do you get past writer's block when it attacks?

preform magic"

This question has been asked, and all of the answers fit in some way, but none in all. Let me show you what i mean.

Ron speaks parsletounge.

He's already magic, but it doesnt work anyway because it's not in later life.

Neville pulls the sword of Gryffindor out of the Sorting hat.

Neville isnt tallented in magic, but he can do it. Once again, he lives AT LEAST 19 more years, but almost definately more.

Arianna preforms magic.

While she did preform magic later in life, she was already a witch that was scared to preform magic.

Hedwig

I'm not even sure where this theory came from, but Hedwig never preformed magic.

Harry's Wand shooting golden flames

This is not a bad guess, because the wand is broken soon after, but it's not a character, the wand is definately magical, it's already preformed magic, and it is fixed at the end of the book.

See what i'm saying? none of them fit! If you can find one that DOES fit, please tell me right away.

i am a family doctor and i bring the book to read during the few breaks and also the lunch break. It is a big room, so most of the other doctors read scientific magazines (Scientific american, discovery, etc), and then i bring the 7th hp book.

i get ocassional stares/glances, it is like my social status is going down. i just glance at them "back." So, is it okay to read the hp book even in the workplace (medical field).

thank you

how did you enjoy the book. i jusy finishes reading it. and OMG!! it was awesome i csnt believe Fred, Lupin and Tonks die. that was so sad. i think i cried the most when Hedwig and Dobby died. rowling did a very good job with the series. but what i was thinking is not continue harry potter series but make a new series that has their children involved. so it would sort of be a continuation but a new generation continuation. know what i mean. my fave part was .... i dunno liked it all too much to have a fave part. what was your fave part of the book. and who were you sad to see die? and one more thing i cant beileve Snape had been spying on both sides the whole time. and what do u think that thing was at King's Cross Station with Harry and Dumbeldore?
