Hi, I have to write an essay on the seventh harry potter book and I need to know what chapter and/or page hermione finds out how to destroy the horcruxs. Providing Chapter and Number will get you best answer.

I don't have my book on me, but I believe they talked about it either while they were at the Burrow or shortly afterwards. She shows Harry and Ron the books she got out of Dumbledore's office and tells them about it.

chapter 15 Goblin's revenge. They figure it out after hearing the goblins, Ted Tonks, Dirk and Dean Thomas talking by the river when the goblin said that Gryffindor's sword is a fake. That reasoned them to believe that since Harry killed the basilick with it making the sword strenghen because of the venom. Its on page 304.
