She wrote the last chapter of the seventh book before she got started on book 1. Since then, one person got a repreive (arthur weasley) and 2 characters die that she didn't intend back 10 years ago. Those two, she said, are Lupin and Tonks. That means, Snape and Fred were planned deaths. And she mentioned that several people would come back, Victor Krum and Umbridge were some of them. I found this out on Mugglenet. Note, This isn't my opinion, there have been interviews since the last book has been released where JK tells us she intended to kill Arthur in book 5 and she hadn't originally planned on killing Tonks and Lupin.

Look at what Ron was wearing throughout the argument. The locket. Ron's mood is bad enough do to lack of decent food, all of theirs are. But Rowling makes it clear that wearing the locket makes things worse for who ever is currently wearing it. Especially for Ron.

Their friendship is not over, just as it wasn't over after what happened between them before the first task of the Triwizard Cup in "Goblet of Fire." I'll leave you to find out exactly how they reconcile later in the book.

Don't worry, their friendship is far from broken. I can't say more without spoiling (Let's just say Ron makes up for it in a big way)

I will tell you that the friendship isn't over. I will also warn you to stay off yahoo! answers until you finish the book because not everyone warns that their question contains spoilers.
