I quote Mugglnet.com :

JKR has said "There is a character who does manage, in desperate circumstances, to do magic quite late in life, but that is very rare..."

I've read Deathly Hollows, but didn't see that happen. What on earth? Did I skip over that unknowingly, or is it not there?
Sorry if I sound silly for asking, but I've been very curious about who it was.

Severus had been one of my favourite characters ever since the very first book...but now, having read the last one, I was touched by his true intentions.

And also, what moments do you find most exciting/touching/lovely in the final instalment?

Please star this question! :) (I like stars)

In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry informs Voldemort that Draco Malfroy is the true master of the Elder Wand. American Book version p. 743.

I have reread the book and can't figure out how Draco became the true master of the Elder Wand. What did I miss and give examples with page numbers please.

isn't it funny how he thinks he knows the character of snape quite well before the 7th book, and consequently he took lily out of the scene altogether..? he deleted an essential clue!

TODAYShow.com: In a chapter titled "Snape's Worst Memory," Harry sees his teenage father and his friends attack the young Snape. Why would this be "Snape's worst memory"?

Harry Potter director: You know why it’s Snape’s worst memory? Because it’s a kind of public humiliation and it’s quite an intense scene in the film. It’s intense because there’s the notion that his character has such gravitas and authority and such power and everyone hates him for it. But in this scene we see how weak and vulnerable he is. He would hate for everyone at Hogwarts to see that scene.

would anyone else be really upset if he took the snape loves lily storyline out of the end? i think it would ruin it.

(spoiler warning~)

Hello,
Anyone knows which parts in HP books 1~7 mentioned that Lily Potter's Patronus was a doe?
How did harry know that Lily Potter's Patronus was a doe?

I really have no idea of that.

(except the part which Harry said, "Snape's Patronus was a doe, the same as my mother's.")

If Lily Potter's Patronus was really a doe,
then was Harry a fawn, then? since his dad was a stag. (It reminds me of a Disney movie)

Anyone knows what is the meaning of deer in magical world?

Thanks a lot.

Towards the end of The Deathly Hallows, it seemed to me like Lucius Malfoy really only remained loyal to Voldy for the sake of keeping his family safe. Do you agree?

On page 590 (bottom of the page), Amycus says to Alecto 'D'you want to go the same way as the Malfoys?', which would imply the Malfoys are dead. I'm assuming he's referring to the incident where Voldemort found out about the break-in at Gringotts. However, on page 549, it says 'Bellatrix and Lucius Malfoy threw others behind them in their race for the door', right after the goblin was killed. I would assume that in the few seconds after the goblin was killed, Voldy wouldn't have time to kill /everyone/ in the room, and that sentence implied that Lucius and Bella made it to the door rather quickly. It also says 'Those who were left were slain' which would mean some managed to escape in time. So, did Lucius die, as it sounded like Amycus said, or did he in fact make it to the door in time? Don't tell me anything besides whether or not he lives. ^_^

I asked the question "is Lupin gay since his first name is Remus (REEM US)" and I got answers that were way overboard on how much of a jackass I was. I realize that he married Tonks and had a son. BUT IT'S A BOOK FOR GOD SAKES! CHILL OUT! I was just making a joke.
