In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry informs Voldemort that Draco Malfroy is the true master of the Elder Wand. American Book version p. 743.

I have reread the book and can't figure out how Draco became the true master of the Elder Wand. What did I miss and give examples with page numbers please.

well i am sorry i cant give you pagge numbers i listened to the audiobook but to become master of the elder wand or the death stick as i perfer to call it you must either kill its owner or take the wand from them against their will not just take it from their corpse like voldy did Draco in book 6 disarmed Albus making then the wand his then in the Malfoy's manor Harry disarmed Draco making him the master of the elder wand Albus by the wsay disarmed grienwald at least i think he did anyway he did not kill him yet he was the master of the elder wand showing that the previous owner need not be killed Albus' idea was for severus to kill him making him the master of the elder wand remember the wand choses the wizard any way i hope this helps

Draco Wand

The wand was originally dumbledores. The wand moves from person to person when they beat the original owner. Voldemort thought that the wand was snapes as he killed dumbledore, so killed him for it. In fact, Draco had disarmed dumbledore BEFORE snape killed him, therefore the elder wand was draco's, not snapes. In harry potter part 1 harry disarmed draco, making the elder wand harry's. Voldemort killed snape for nothing. ( i feel sorry for him). When Harry killed Voldemort, The wand flew to harry as harry was it's proper owner. Snape didn't know all about the wand and didn't want to be found out. The elder wand is the most powerful wand in the world All the info is in Harry potter 7 book. It might be when he is talking to dumbledore near the end. Have a look.

Draco disarmed Dumbledore in Half-Blood prince before Snape killed him. Disarming = defeating, ergo, Draco was the master of the Wand until Harry disarmed Draco.

If I recall correctly, one of the very first things Draco did when he faced Dumbledore on the tower in book six was to disarm him. As Harry explains, the wand never saw Snape as it's master because he was under Dumbledore's orders to kill him. Dumbledore wouldn't have even resisted Snape's doing so. But he would have tried resisting Malfoy as he didn't want him to harm his soul. So Malfoy won their duel before it could even begin.

~Draco disarmed Dumbledor on top of the tower in book 6, and therefore the wand changed its allegiance to the more powerful wizard, Draco who had managed to remove the wand from Dumbledor.

It is all in book 6. on the top of the tower, when finding dumbledore, draco DISARMED DUMBLEDORE. This means that draco won the wand!

Didn't he disarm Dumbledore or something so he sort of defeated him, so that's how I think Draco became the master. II'm not sure about it though. That confused me too.
