For all the HP fans there, what is your reaction now that J.K. revealed that Headmaster Albus Dumbledore is gay and fell in love with Grindelwald?

Me I was shocked, totally. I can't believe that the Prof. that i idolized is gay. So you, what's your reaction/opinion? :p

It is about a young British journalist who goes to South Africa to rescue (from prison) a father he had never known. The father and four others (ANC members i believe) were sentenced to death for trying to bomb a govt building in one Johannesburg's main streets, Pritchard, and hence the name of the book. Probably published around 1995/1996 but not sure.

time; it has the twist in it that makes the adrenalin rush, be it mystery/ terror/ comedy etc., & one can go through their favourite short-story time & again as & when liked; it's easier to save & have ur own collection too. Any likeminded fellas? those who feel the otherway round? I have a collection of 200 stories gingerly selected over the last 6 years of reading....any sharing ..let know? do star if our mind is in tandem!

so i'm reading the book (i borrowed it from the library) and i saw that one of the sentences was whited out!! ??? seriously what's wrong w/ some ppl. so anyway, i was wondering, if you own the book, if you could tell me what that sentence says. its page 198 in the 7th paragraph where ron says, "Er- is this the new stand on elf rights?" said Ron. then its whited out... help!!! i can't continue the book until i've read this sentence. thnks!

Has anyone got any ideas of good books that do NOT fall into the fantasy genre... To give you an idea of what I may be into, I'm 15, female and some of my favourite books are The Bell Jar, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Catcher in the Rye,The Perks of Being a Wallflower... hmmm that's about all I can think of now :P ideas?

I can always start something, but never finish it. I want to write and I've actually written a few things, but I've never actually finished any of them.

I write a lot, and I get through about three fourths of the story and by then though I'm not as enthusiastic about it. I have no one to motivate me at home--or anyone else for that matter. And it's really hard for me to actually go through and finish something because of that fact.

How do you keep your eye on the prize? I really want to finish something for once. And no that's not motivating enough. I need something that will keep me working.

i have to do a book report and i dont really understand this book-its called-The Magicians Nephew (a series of The Chroniclis of Narnia) please tell me how this book connnects with the Genisis story from the bible and please tell me where the lamp post came from. plese help me only if you've read the book this is due ommorow and my teacher who is grading this is very strict with this. so please give me any hints or web links so i can figure this out and get it in on time.
