in history we are studying the american revolution. A the same time i am reading Jane Austin's Pride And Prejudice, and i was wondering if the two had anything to do w/ eachother

I doubt that Kitty and Lydia would have been interested in any soldier old enough to have been in the American Revolution. Such a soldier would have been around fifty years old in 1811 when the novel is set.
However, the War of 1812 was fast approaching. In fact it had already started when the book was published.

No, to both questions. Jane Austen was born in 1775 and had a very secluded life in rural southern England for her first 25 years. Pride and Prejudice appeared in 1813, and is a novel of contemporary manners and behaviour not a historical work. So there is no connection with the American Revolution.

It shouldn't. The American Revolution is 1776-1783, and Austen's writings are in the period of 1810-1820. They would be so much older the girls wouldn't have been interested.
