OK, I really like to jot and jot and try to make stories but I never use a proper system, I never know how to lay the dialog out well or anything. I don't know how to make a great intro, keep it interesting, etc. What are crucial components that make/break a story, and what should I focus on right now? I'm lost. Hope I make sense, heh...

There was once a book i read about creatures that took the form of your shadows and they protected you. It was in a fantasy book because there was a kingdom with different classes and levels in their "society". It might be a couple books i can't remember. Does anyone know what i'm talking about?

Do you think J.K. Rowling might start creating a book on Ted Lupin(lupin and tonks's son) because it'd be great he's just like harry, parents were murdered, harry's his godfather as Black was to Harry, hmm i hope she does it'd be cool, what do you think? i doubt she will do though.

Come on! I love the books and the films, don't get me wrong, but when that's headlining your news it's a bit mad. What're your thoughts on this? Personally I think it's hilarious.

She finds this out as her Mom is dying, Ends up going to Italy finds her Dad and all. She ends up staying in the Appalachian Coal town, she marries this guy she never expected to. I think the word "moon" is in the title of one of the books. It was a series. They had a daughter, the whole family goes to Italy in one book, she almost has an affair, ends up not. She owned a drug store. Anyone.....

so I'm starting to write a fiction novel and I'm having trouble with the story-tellling technique, like for example could I tell it through 2 different points-of-view and if so how can I pull this? Like for example the story's happening through the main character/narrator yet there's another important character that's involved in underground knife fights and there's like parts where like the knife fights are going on and you (the reader) gets to know what's going on but the main character doesn't. If I can't do two different points of view, then how could I pull this off, to have the reader know in detail something that the narrator doesn't?

Ok, so we have learned that Dumbledore is gay. I have no problem with this, and I think it is great for equality. JKR's book are all about tolerence and understanding so its no surprise that someone is gay. But I havent actually seen in the stories anything that would make me think he was gay. Can someone please point me to instances where he says, does, gives a hint that he is indeed gay?

I have no problem with him being gay, i just wanted to see some clues or hints. Are there any? He ever conjure a purple teddy bear, or complement snapes backside or something? anything guys?

In the book cover of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince [Scholastic], there is Albus Dumbledore and Harry beside. They're in front of a basin. Im confused. Is the 'basin' the pensieve? or is it the goblet they saw in the cave?..

I really love the Twilight series..
i finished Twilight last week, and
I'm most likely to be finished with New Moon today..
I simply love th characters and the story, the plot..
but something keeps getting to my mind..

is "Twilight" okay for me to read, as a christian tho?
i mean, it's got vampires in it..
but not the typical "bloodsucker" vampires
who kill people..
this book is different with those other vampires..
is it okay for christians to read books
that has something about vampires or werewolves involved in it (for characters i mean)..
I just want to know..
*is my question sort of weird..?

could someone please clear this up for me, I don't really understand, thanks ^_^
