I have checked out 4 books of short stories. I want to read as much as I can from each to get a good grasp of well-written short stories. I also hope to finish writing 2 short stories, 2 non-fiction articles(or personal essays) and continue working on my novel.

I've been drawing places and building a fantasy worlf for about 5 years now, and I think it's time to get writing. I want to turn this into a trilogy of books, but am having a problem starting. any pointers on how to get the ball rolling would be helpful.

The first idea is Iron Errol Harvey. It takes place in the late 1600s. It's about a Commodore, commander of the HMS Luna. While on a trip to another port city she's seiged by a pirate ship, and the man's recruited as a member of the crew, and turns pirate.

The next is Phantasmagoria. It's about an outcasted boy who starts to go insane out of a need for a social life. He begins hearing voices and they become complete hallucinations.

The other is Keeper of the Peace. It's a drama/fantasy about a kid who's studying a magical art who is transported to a different dimension. He has to learn how he got there so he can get back.

The last is Valentine's Regime, about a post-apocalyptic dictator who forms an army and takes supreme power over most of the world.

So do you think you would read any of these books? None are finished. I hardly have manuscripts, so for more detail, give your email address, and I'll give you the information I couldn't fit.

Thanks

I cannot find the words on Google search, or anywhere else for that matter. I love the books by Jean M Auel, but I hate coming across words that I think are vital, but not understandable.
Can anyone help me?

About every 4 years I read Richard Bach's "Illusions, The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah" and Richard Matheson's "I Am Legend". Not because I forgot what they are about, but because they are fascinating to me.

Each of these, I have read at least 7 times in my 47 years of life.

It's not really a biography of such, more like a cross between a diary and a statement.
It's called "Life as a Fourteen Year Old Girl in a Grammar School" and it's basically a statement saying that I'm not a boffin or a slag.
I just wondered if anyone would please read it for me? It's just under 6 pages long, and it makes perfect sense to me, but probably not to anyone else.

It's funny because how the hell can you write a biography at 14 years old!?!

Leave me your email adress and I'll send it to you, and could you then please read it and email me back some constructive criticism? Remember, it's no where near finished and I don't really like it. Just wanted it to make sense really.

Thanks :)

By Alice Cullen, I mean the character from Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I've tried looking on the Twilight Lexicon, but I couldn't find the exact date. Only the year.
