I have an idea for a new written project in which the protagonist must have questionable moral fibre but not be instantly unlikeable, or roguishly appealing either.

What is the best way of accomplishing this? And if they are to die, how can I make them finally redeem themselves without it seeming 'corny'? Is it perhaps best for them to remain unchanged by the events of their story and, if so, does this make them automatically villianous?

Thanks!

Would you recommend it?

I am currently reading flyboys. I would recommend it. I find it particularly interesting because it is about WWII, the Pacific arena fighting the Japanese. That is where my father faught. Since he very rarely spoke of his experiences it gives me some insight into some things he may have gone through. It is quite graphic and I have to read it slowly because of the of brutality that is described. I can't take too much at one time.

Now that school is out for the summer I would like to find a whole bunch of good books to read for fun instead of for academics. I don't care for romance novels at all, but am pretty open to all other genres. My favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, Christopher Moore and Micheal Crition. Any suggestions?

Were Romeo and Juliet real? I found this website, http://www.william-shakespeare.info/shakespeare-play-romeo-and-juliet.htm
It provides information about the history of the play, and states that Romeo and Juliet were real people, or at least based on real people, and they died in 1303. However, I used that information to answer a question here on Yahoo Answers and someone called it crap that I made up. I'm just wondering, is this website correct in saying that Romeo and Juliet were firmly based in reality? I'm just wondering, thanks.

Okay,in the book the woman tells the guy next to her on the plane every embaressing thing that ever happened to her,and then it turns out the next day he's her new boss or something.
Also,I think it's by the same author, there's a book about a woman trying to hide out(I think),and some rich woman mistakes her for a maid,so she pretends to be one.

Does this sound vaguely familiar to any of you?
