I am in the process of writing a book. I get sidetracked VERY easily and I am a full time student as well as working full time right now. I do not have the time to sit and concentrate and write. Are there any publishers out there that will accept the rough draft of a book in a digital format, on a mini-disc or cd or something? I have a voice recorder I am basically telling the story into. Is there any chance of this working, or will I have to pay someone to transcribe it before I send it in?

DO you know the story behind it? Why it was banned?

Mine is Farenheit 451. Let's ban a book about censorship. :)

I would write this story as fiction even though some of it isnt because of obvious reasons.
It would be a story about a guy who finds some information in the basement of his Aunt's house in Memphis. This information would show that a member of his family was connected to a very secret but powerful racist organization. This info would show a link between the deaths of Martin Luther King and Elvis Presley. Both of these cultural Icons died in memphis only a few miles from each other. This story would show what really happen and who was really behind it.

I believe Snape was in love with Lilly Potter. Maybe thats why Snape is so utterly mean to Harry ( I know that James was horrible to Snape b/c James and his friends bullied him) but maybe he is so mad at James because he married Lilly. Because Lilly always defended Snape even though Snape used to call her mudblood but maybe he had some feelings for her.

Do you think that they had a relationship? Cause remember that theres a woman that once loved Snape. Maybe it was her?

(I have read all of Stephen King's books -- even those under the name Richard Bachman -- and most of Anne Rice's too.) So other than the stories by these two authors, what is a really good scary story?

I don't want one that is just some schuck running amuck with a knife that's all gore. I mean something really scary, supernatural scary.

Laura Mallory in LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., argued the popular fiction series is an attempt to indoctrinate children in witchcraft, said she still wants the best-selling books removed and may take her case to federal court.

Is she a wack job or what ?

I am in a book club and I get to choose the books for the group to vote on to read soon. I would like to go to this art gallery hopping event my city has and read an art themed book to go along with it. Do you know of any good fiction books that have an art theme? Even something like "The Girl with the Pearl Earring" or something along that line. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :)

I'm looking for a poem but I cannot remember either the title or the poet (Whom I remember is a male).
The poem is about a prince who goes into battle, and in the midst of it, a man abandons both his broken sword and the battle. He envies the prince's sword, and exclaims, "But this--blunt thing!--" (This is one of the few lines that I can recall.)

Later, the prince, who is now swordless, wounded, and losing, comes by and sees the broken sword buried, and takes it up and leads his men into victory.
It was a poem I memorized in seventh grade, and I would very much like to read it once more.
