Here is your end of school year gift, a link to the characters in "Flowers for Algernon." Good luck.

You need to do your own homework and read the book for yourself, but here's a couple of hints:

1) The clearest examples of people being mean to Charlie happen before he has the operation. Right after the operation is when Charlie figures it out: he realizes both **that** they were being mean to him and in what way they were being mean. So that narrows down where in the story you need to look.

2) Miss Kinnian is NEVER mean to him.

Omg, I freakin' LOVE that book! I watched the movie, too. It is soo great! I can't remember their names, but the little gang of people in the beginning of the book, like when he's walking outside, ya know? There, those people are being mean to him. If I remember right...

The book was great. I loved it and the movie. Try reading the book or renting the movie, or maybe looking at cliff's notes. This will help you when you go into higher grades and must write longer papers on shorter topics.
