does anyone know if j.k rowling the auther of harry potter is gonna write other books after harry potter. and did she mention what is she gonna write?

According to Wikipedia, JK Rowling is going to continue writing, but is mum on what type it would be. I remember reading an article where she wanted to write something other than fantasy so she can stretch her writing wings.
She toyed with the idea of releasing a novel under a pen name, but has since tossed the idea because she feels like it would be too easily discovered by the press. Of course, she could be saying that just to throw off suspicion if she does release a book under a different name.
I personally would like to see her try her hand at writing mysteries. She's pretty good at dropping clues & foreshadowing events, so I think she could be a natural at it. In any case, I wish her luck. I'd almost be too afraid to write anything else, since there are going to be some that may judge it harshly b/c it's not a Harry Potter novel.

I can't for the life of me remember which interview she said this in, but I'm fairly certain that she said at one point that she was planning a far less ambitious book (or series) for kids.
However, I read that a long time ago, and I don't remember where I read that. (Probably Mugglenet.)
As for other Harry Potter books, JKR will definitely NOT write an 8th book, but she has said that she might write a companion book (like Quidditch Through the Ages or Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) that focuses on the wizarding world. She will not write a book from another character's point of view (i.e. Harry's grandson, Mark Evans...)
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Deathly Hallows won't be her last Potter book, but if it is, then hopefully she'll keep writing other works.

Due to rather naive statements she's made, many fantasy authors expect her next book to be about Larry Kotter.
