My last 'Seussical the Musical' performance was today, and I will never see my crew again because they are high schoolers. I am totally sobbing right now. Who feels my pain?

I've been reading a lot of non-fiction but want to balance it out with some fiction books:

Some books I enjoy:
Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility
The Namesake
The Life of Pi
The Lord of the Rings trilogy as well as The Hobbit
The Golden Compass
The Handmaid's Tale
The Kite Runner
Gentleman and Players

Here are some books/series I did NOT like:
The Phantom Tollbooth
Robert Jordan's really long "Wheel of Time" series
Mists of Avalon
The Painted Veil
Snow Flower and the Secret Fan
Moby Dick
The Alchemist

Thanks!!

I think it is. At least the part about the Ministy of Magic. I mean "Magic is Might?" Thats obviously taken from "Ignorence is Strength, War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery." And that eye? I can only see Big Brother and his telescreens. And the ruthless inquisition- Miniluv and Room 101? I think it's just a rip-off. in that part. What do you think? And isn't 1984 extremly better then Harry Potter?

ok well I have come to the conclusion that everytime I audition for something, I do a good job but usually the people who get the part were "Bigger" than I was. Well in about a month and a half I am auditioning for Beauty and the Beast, Belle is a dream role for me. Any tips on being big? The process is you sing a solo and then get called back the next day. My song is God Help the Outcasts. Like I said this is a dream role for me and I want to do whatever it takes to get it. Thanks for your help!

Flag Draped Coffins
Written by Semper Fi Reborn
2nd Bn., 6th Marines, Fox Co. 1st Plt.
Wpns. Trng. Bn., Echo Range

The protestors crowded the square,
Shouting, Babykillers!
Murderers!
You don't fight for us you dogs!
As they spat on us,
They had no remorse.
They let their spittle land on my face.
On the faces of my brothers and sisters.
Right below the eyes.
Eyes that had seen death far too much.
And their spit ran down our faces like crude tears.
As we wondered if we should have just given up,
And died?
Given up and let the enemy of our land take over?
Laid down our weapons and surrendered our rights?
Handed over Old Glory,
To be mocked and burned?
Then we saw the hearses,
Stretched for what seemed like miles.
We remembered the voices,
The faces of our fallen.
And we made a vow.
It said:
I'LL EMPTY THE MAGAZINE OF THIS WEAPON,
BEFORE I ALLOW ANOTHER FLAG DRAPED COFFIN!!

Then I slapped the guy that spit on me.

Romance, children's movies and zen all convey the idea that simplicity is so much better than complicated, even if, on the surface, many would disagree. I agree, but why is this concept so very appealing?

It's all what we see it to be. If we want to cry, we shall cry. If we want to laugh, we shall laugh. If we think God exists, he does. And vice versa.
We can make anything happen, but we all have to think the same thing to acheive it. Therefore, any goal that is not personal cannot be acheived without people who think alike. You make yourself sad. You make yourself happy. It's all how we see it to be.

Make any sense?

Think about it.

There's a belief that everyone in the world is connected or related to one another within six degrees. Have you ever met a complete stranger and - in the course of conversation or over time - come to find out that he or she is related to you or connected through a mutual friend, but you never knew it until then?

I am trying to take my sisters senior pictures and have them printed off. Does anyone know of any websites where I can get the wallet sized pictures done, so they look like a wallet that would be professionally done. We got some done at walgreens, but they are just not the same size as normal wallets and I'm really looking for some with rounded edges and all that. Thanks!

From history viewpoint, Southeast Asia had been the center of trade, Its region was where the Chinese from the European Asians would trade, the trade port would be located along the coast of the Malayan Peninsula, which was connected to the Indian Ocean. Beside trading ports as Malayan, there was one located in east Sumatra and north Java

I want to get a new book. I like to read novels (fiction&literature) with settings in small towns (midwest, down south). I like books with a little romance but I'm not looking for one primarily based on love or erotica. Books I've read are: Where The Heart is....and....Shoot the Moon- Billie Letts. I'm looking for something with a story of love, home, family, mystery, finding your roots... Got any ideas for me???? Your answers are much appreciated!
