I want to get a new book. I like to read novels (fiction&literature) with settings in small towns (midwest, down south). I like books with a little romance but I'm not looking for one primarily based on love or erotica. Books I've read are: Where The Heart is....and....Shoot the Moon- Billie Letts. I'm looking for something with a story of love, home, family, mystery, finding your roots... Got any ideas for me???? Your answers are much appreciated!

The Jan Koran Mitford series would be a good fit for what you're asking. I like anything by Nicolas Sparks also.

As far as love, home, family, mystery and
finding one's roots, I can't recommend
any higher this one.

It's Frances Lear's autobiography.

Wow, whatta read. In my opinion, everyone
should read it by the time they're 30.

"The Second Seduction".

Definitely get a copy. It's a night's read,
two tops. And a keeper to boot.

Let me know whatcha think afterward.
