s_r_s_siva - True and many of the similiar questions were asked by the ancient chinese philosophers as well. They all use different terms but really they are talking about identical stuff.

It's quite good, but i like 'Being and Time' as well. Besides that, that's a particular tradition in Western Philosophy. I would also want to say a lot of Wittgenstein's work is pretty good and works such as 'The Structure of Scientific Revolutions' by Thomas Kuhn are great in their own way. Husserl's stuff is also excellent. I wouldn't want to confine myself to continental philosophy, because i don't like its deliberate obscurity, though Sartre isn't as bad as a lot of others. To be honest, a lot of the time the French in particular seem to have nothing meaningful to say and disguise that by making it sound profound. The Germans are better, but the English-speaking tradition is quite clear and precise, and isn't afraid to call a spade a spade.

Many questions were asked in the ancient Hindu texts about
the nature of Parama Atama (infinite soul, or Almighty) and
Atma (soul). In the olden days, Gurus used to put these
questions to disciples to test their knowledge.

What is the constituent material of Almighty? All created
materials are subject to decay and annihilation, Almighty
is above the influence of decay and annihilation. He
is eternal.

Then is Almighty a void? In terms of material
characteristics, Almighty is void (Soonya).

Can this lead to the logic that Almighty is not there?
No. Almighty is there. He is consciousness, the infinite
consciousness. The Atma which is a finite piece of Almighty,
according to Advaita Vedanta - the personal consciousness.
Soul was created in the likeness of Infinite Soul.

Since Atma is only a minute piece of Almighty, is it
subjected to annihilation? No. Atma is also eternal.

No, not at all.
We should consider Heidegger books, and even Jacques Derrida contributions to Philosophy as more important.
