The amount of carnage it cost must have been estimated beforehand. What was so important to pay such a price? I understand the importance of emancipation, but I've been told the real reasons behind the war had little to do with slavery and more to do with economics. And, that the slavery issue was thrown in to enlist a little help for the North from the slaves.

Pinter Help Please?

I am directing A Slight Ache and The Dumb Waiter, I am having some difficulties with my actors finding the humor of these relationships......I like to play things wild and different, push my actors to their physical and mental limits but my actors are very unexperienced, ( I know what a challenge for Pinter), but what can you do!! Any tips on how to help them find the characters in these complex works. I thought after doing Godot that these would be a breeze but I am hitting a brick wall....please help

I need to take modeling/fashion pics indoors. What kind of studio lighting kit should I use?

I've looked around on ebay for different kits, but I'm not sure what would be best for my situation. I need a kit that will provide enough light to take high quality pics indoors, at different times of day and night. I'm also looking for something relatively inexpensive (around $150 or less, if possible). I don't mind buying something used, but I'm just not sure whether some of the kits I'm looking at are for taking pics of people or of smaller objects. Also, if I get several 500 watt lights, will I end up blowing out the fuses in my house? Do I need anything special to accomodate these high energy bulbs? Thanks to anyone who can give me some good, reliable input!

World War 2 Help!?
