A lot of things are wrong in our world, but at the root of it all are just two attitudes we have been developing over the years......
Increasing importance being given to the immediate term over the longer term... kind of myopic view of life.... genuine concern for the future is diminishing rapidly
Increasing concern for quantity as opposed to any care for quality of life... quality of life implies catering to the mind and the spirit rather than merely the body with physical pleasures
There is no harm in being selfish..... it would be unrealistic dream to expect people in general to become selfless.... but the above mentioned two attitudes are making us embrace narrow selfishness that is utterly foolish because it does not at all serve our own purpose in the final analysis.

I was once told that the world has a mentality like a pool in the form of a yin-yang. America has dipped into the "goods" side so much and the rest of the world has followed. the other end "bad" side needs to be refilled... so all the good others are trying to do and help out with is being destroyed by corporations around the world who are trying to be successful. If the world acted on morales through every action it is possible that there would be less "law breaking/lawyers bailing out evil doers." do what is right to you and help each other, i believe the world will be better with a little love from everyone... and no i'm not a hippie, just a single person on this planet of seven trillion.

Greed, Corruption, Murder, Lies, Backstabbers, Poisons, Pharmacutial companys, Cover-ups, Depression, Divorce, Too many kids being gave away or killed, Debt, Jealousy, but i think the one that overshadows them all is GREED.
everyone in the world, always wants more than what they have and most will do any of the above to get it. The idea of family and family values has been lost in a society so worried about getting ahead and having better things than everyone else. The world has basically LOST ITS MORALITY>

People. Selfishness and greed. The instict to kill has allowed us to survive thus far, but we're at a point where reason needs to control our instict before we completely destroy the earth. Just think, we in the US have amassed enough firepower to kill 8 billion people... and there are only 6 billion on the planet.

Too much greed, power-tripping, ego and conceit, and too many people wanting to control everyone else. Oh yeah, and lack of true religious freedom. If there was true religious freedom, then people could believe (or NOT believe) in whatever religion they desired without fearing retribution or... WAR.

Wrong with the world today...no morals....no boundaries...loss of innocense...the mention of God is unlawful in public and in our Pledge of Allegiance. How much worst can it get I'm sure someone will think of something :(
