Only in science fiction. There may be credibility to cosmic rays effecting global warming but that that has yet to be proven. Cosmic rays may make changes to the sun but again that is unproven. My personal idea is that because they also have calcium and iron, cosmic rays could make sunshine a natural mineral supplement for humans which might be beneficial to their consciousness. But that is stretching it a bit.

Cosmic rays may mediate consciousness, but whether it helps or not is an other question completely. Why would I need them.

cosmic rays or ration are blocked by the earth's magnetic field, they can't affect you unless your at the north pole, magnetic north that is.
