Need to create a graphic design student guide as an assignment, for students to enroll into the course. We where given all the information, just need to do the formatting.

Does anyone have any examples or ideas?

Would you do something funky or stylish?

I know quite a few have been killed over a vast time period and so it is hard to generalise- but, if you had to, what is the most common motive for these assassinations? Is it mostly due to a particular President's regime or just a nutcase with a gun wanting to kill a person in power? Thanks.

I'm curious as to what one lens the serious shooters in here most covet.

You may list two if you can't decide on just one. Please explain why you want to add your choices to your camera bag.

I have two:

Minolta 35mm f2.8 SHIFT CA:

This lens is a "perspective control" lens used to photograph buildings and eliminate the "falling backwards" look you get when you tilt the camera up to get the entire building in the frame. It also has "Variable Field Curvature" which allows you to "curve" the plane of focus for concave or convex objects. Rare. Expensive.

Minolta 17mm f4:

The widest rectilinear lens they offered. 104 degree angle of view with zero distortion of vertical lines. Rare. Pricey.

How can you use the light and the shadow in order to make the shape of the object beautiful and clear? I am shooting a ceramic by digital camera. I use the strong light in the dark space. I want to express the 3 Dimensional beauty of the object.
Thank you

that fill from a bottle. I am somewhat late coming to the computer age, and the thought has come to me, "Perhaps I should start keeping my journal on the computer and print it out every week or so." It woud have several advanages, such as being quicker, and most of all, it would make it easy for people in the future to read it. I really believe that in a relatively short period of time, almost nobody will be able to real cursive handwriting. Writing styles change. My wife has a "journal" written by a relative in the 1800's, and I can not read it because of the style of writing at that time. But, then, am I writing it for someone to read in the distant future, or am I writing it for myself, in the "here and now?" I think, both, but writing it for me now is more important. After so many years of "taking my pen in hand," it would be hard to give up. I guess that I am just tied to the past and to the way things used to be, at my now ripe old age of 70. What do you think?

Hate

I see you there...
right in front of me...
i see the hate in your eyes
your clenched fists....
and i hate you....
i hate how you hate me
and tears are building up in my eyes
but i can't let you see that!
no i won't let you see...
how much you're hurting me....
i grit my teeth in pain...
in hate....
in love....

Fight for all the right reasons

to fight for all the wrong reasons
to rationalize everything
love is the sole spring
inspiring, motivating, moving
if it is there, if it is real..
then it must be rewarding

to fight for all the wrong reasons
makes us fools for deluding
contrary to the face of evidence
we inexorably keep on hiding
wounded yet unswayed..denying
must we brave all the bleeding?

fight for all the right reasons...

Henry VIII wanted a male heir so created Anglicanism so that he could marry again.

If he converted to islam instead he would have been allowed have 4 wifes and divorce too and he would have even more choice of male heirs.

So what is the possibilty that change to Islam and how would UK and world be today if it happened

I loved the book Gone with the Wind, and the sequel Scarlett wasn't too bad. Now I've just heard that some guy wrote a book called Rhett Butler's People, telling the story from Rhett Butlers point of view. Have any of you already read it? Would you want to?

As part of of Uni course I have to devise and print a book. I am trying to find the best material to use for the cover. This material has to be very eco-friendly and from a design point of view, it needs to look natural, a sort of canvas material.

Can anyone help me???
