I had posted something yesterday about wanting a new camera.I was just wondering for what i want it for(sports) would it be better to buy a new one...or is the one i have ok?I have a fujifilm s3100.It takes good pics outside but not much inside.I know nothing about cameras and i have to take the same pic many diff times when im inside because usually they are blurry.Am i doing something wrong when i take them inside?Do you think my camera is ok for sporing events?I wanted a canon rebel but someone told me that i have to buy lens to go with it and a flash and its about $1000.I dont have that much to spend.Thanks

It is easier, in life, to believe in a Deity and I don't.

I am interested in people who didn't believe in a Deity and then decided differently.

What changed your mind, irrefutably?

I am not in the slightest bit interested in deciding to believe in God as a crutch because I may be too scared to face the death of my friends and family or my own death. That's too easy.

And look into yourself before you answer this question:

Have you decided God exists because the idea of extinction at death is intolerable?

Be honest.

I am not in the slightest bit interested in answers that say 'of course there is a God because there is'

I welcome sane, logical, sensitive answers from believers, ex believers and atheists who became believers.

I'm working on an art piece that will be a collage of many people's faces, mainly celebrities or major historical figures. To obtain faces, I wish to find photos on the web and use Photoshop to extract out only the heads of the subject. Is it legal to use this altered photo in a project that may be of potential commercial use? Is this akin to using music samples from songs to make new commercial songs?

The end of the year is near , as we count it on a calender year,
All the people go queer , buying gifts for their dear.
Who care,s as we rip the paper of our presents and see what is meant for us, by the person who went to so much fuss.
Spent their hard earn,t cash on a gift from a shelf in a shop, that reminded them of myself.
Do I have a dollar sign that makes them go blind , and puts me in their mind , I,m not that kind.
I don,t have a price I am so nice I don,t need a present under a tree to enlighten me.
The thought is ok , the present you buy I do ask why??
Do I look in my eye like the person you have to bye.
I don,t think so as you know, for i am a person that we both can grow.
Spending dollars and hiding them in a present isn't always plesent putting them under a tree and saying santa gave these,
is a lie for he does not fly the night skies.
Every twelve moons we play this same old tune, why do we fuss as we must it only makes the un-rapper smile cause he,s in dept to you.

I've always wondered - why is there an additional, wider hole at the centre of the 4 screws used to secure an electric guitar's neck to the body?

i receive many poems in emails. for the past two days they have been appearing as chunks of prose. when i want to write a poem and save a draft ,the draft also turns the poem into a chunk of prose with no verse structure.

Did this happen? A friend of mine is adament that America was defeated in ww2 in a battle on some small Island in the pacific ocean. Apparently more than 60 thousand American's were taken prisoner.
I personally have NEVER heard about this, nor could I find anything about it on the net... I think he's full of Sh*t but I need to know...
