I loved the book Gone with the Wind, and the sequel Scarlett wasn't too bad. Now I've just heard that some guy wrote a book called Rhett Butler's People, telling the story from Rhett Butlers point of view. Have any of you already read it? Would you want to?

I really like it so far. I am not reading it because it is a Gone with the Wind Sequel, but because I really like the author's previous work. Check out Jacob's Ladder, I really enjoyed that book.

I haven't read it yet, but I've heard about it. They say that obviously, it's not as good as "Gone With the Wind", but that it is far superior to "Scarlett".
I guess it fills in the story of Rhett Butler's past and childhood.

no.
But if you liked gone with the wind, so you have to read 'familiar happyness' from tolstoj.
I am quite sure that Marghareth Mitchell copied his story.
I'm really in love with Sergej Michajlovich much more then Reth Butler.
But Masa is so similar to Scarlett! The story, the way she used to live her nursering and so on.
I really think Mitchell has been inspired from this book.
It's also small, so you can prove it
:)
bye
