in life I mean...

...in the long run.

even with the terrible things that happen every day in this world... there has to be some "justice"

right? ...in the end.

do you feel this way at all?

Yes, I like to think this way because I like to think of myself as the 'good guy'. While I'm not rich, popular or any of the other attributes that other people have I am happy with myself. I think the justice you're talking about must come from inside a person; a sense of worth that a person acheives when he/she looks back on their life. Have I been a good person? Did I do the best I could? Have I atoned for the wrongs I have done to others? Questions like these, among others, must be asked by the individual and can only be answered by that individual. If you can say yes to all these and all the others then, in my opinion, the good guy has won; even though the rest of the world may not know it or even care.
This is a very good question. Thanks for making me think today!

I can't agree. There's simply too much evidence to the contrary. The closer you examine any issue, the more likely you'll find that it's hardly ever clear just who the "good guys" are. Likewise, what is and isn't just is often determined in hindsight by the side that wins the conflict/controversy.

The good guy always wins. The good guy is at peace with his concious and does not live looking behind his back.

The bad guy eventually gets caught and has to answer for his ways.He is not free at all since he is always looking behind his shoulders.

In my opinion 'good' is defined as that which benefits ultimately...... hence the good guy must win in the end.... the final justice lies in the fact that not only the good guy, but everyone around him too benefits from his being good.

I don't only feel, I have faith and I am sure. Only narrowsighted people are deluded to think that the bad guy is winning.

I tend to agree with you... But what if america was to lose some time? Would we then considered us to be the bad guy?

I would like to agree with you but all the evidence is to the contrary.
