Hi! This is what I was able to find:
Thomas, Edward Kirkbride (Painter, decorator) born 1817, Philadelphia, Died,1906, Detroit, MI.
Work: Minneapolis Inst. Art., of colonial ancestry, he fought in the Seminole War and the Civil War. He made several views of Fort Snelling, MN and other drawings and sketches for the Army Ordinance Depart. in South Carolina. Sources: Gibson, Artists of Early Michigan.

What's the age of the Artist? There is a Thomas Lee in the USC Graduate program. He is a painter.
