Nothing clouds thought, thought can cloud clarity.

Anything / entity with sufficient force to break through the concentration.

The innermost circle of thought must be sealed tight, no entry/exit point anywhere - else vapors will form inside, for it follows Earth science, hot air seeking the cool vacuum of minds trying to purify themselves, thus clouding our thoughts.

Of course, were you physically situated outside the planet and traveling at speeds that defy Earth science, perhaps clouding of thoughts won't be a problem. It would be the windshield of the spacecraft that would have this, may be from cosmic frost.

Lots of things. For one, religion often does. If you are expected to take things on faith, that is. Faith is basically belief in the absence of evidence, or even in the face of evidence to the contrary. We would certainly not want our lawyers or our financial advisers to think like that, so why do we accept it in religion?

Then prejudice clouds thought. If you can only accept one answer, the facts and an honest analysis of them will only confuse you, perhaps even frighten you. If you can start with an open mind, examine the evidence available, ask questions, and analyze with logic and reason, you can find the best possible answer.

Drugs and alcohol clearly cloud thought, when they don't actually eliminate it altogether.

Strong emotions, too, interfere with the ability to be objective enough to make reason and logic work for you. Love can make you crazy, but so can hate or fear or quite a few others.

Propaganda and brainwashing cloud thought, if they don't eliminate it altogether.

Simply beautiful question Sister!

Exactly what does cloud thought? Will this help us?

What one does wrong
Clouds the mind.
For if one does right
All of their time.
Have they nothing
to worry about
at any time.

Because all they see
and all they hear.
They can come to
totally understand.
I could go on, hear.
But I know you
already understand :-)

Truly it is as simple as that! For what does your mind have to worry about if you are only doing what is right?

Strong Emotion

The false and often self-serving stories pumped into us by power structures. It is difficult enough to be clear because our eyes fool us into thinking we are separate from each other and the day-night cycles biases us to binary thinking, but then organizations use those two main confusions and weave fear stories and commands around them. A person trying to get on with life usually just can't defend against those forces.
