have been using the Norton Program but appear to be having
a lot of problems with it...I suspect becauwse it is free from Rogers - if Norton is not the best system, then what is?

i have always thought that was some one who "got around". so then why if a guy is trying to get with a girl (in any way), and is rejected, does he call her a slut? here's the deal. my ex, who i did not have the best relationship with, sent me an IM today and asked if we would ever get back together and i said probably not because im w/ someone i plan on marrying. and he replies by saying "i never should have got with you i should have waited on ______ you're nuthin but a shlut!" and when i asked him how that makes me a shlut he had no response. so yahoo aswerers i am asking you.... why would a girl be called a shlut because she DOES NOT want to do something sexual or be with a guy... isnt that the opposite of a shlut? guys feel free to answer as well.

When women sign their name with two last names hypened....what exactly does that mean? Does that mean they are married and have kept their maiden name as well as added their married name on, or they are engaged and just putting both last names to get everything straight?

I recently had a liver ultrasound done and it said there was no lesion or focal lesion present.. I remember my friend from med school telling me that a lesion present means it's a tumor...is that what the word "lesion" stands for?

I recently got back in touch with an old friend on Facebook, she has a child with her partner but they are getting divorced. When they met he had his own house which she moved into and has been raising their child in whilst he works. She has only just filed for divorce, and is worried that her and her child will end up with nothing as she spent her time being the main care giver and housewife rather than contributing financially to the household. What WILL she be entitled to?

realise that the asker simply has a major chip on their shoulder,

........and we just cannot be bothered to entertain the question!

If you are still with me, I will say more. I get attracted by the question, then I read that they are so strongly against the McCanns, even to the point of abusing them, that i go right off the idea of giving them an answer.

I think to myself "this person has a major chip on their shoulder, so where's the point?".

On a few rare occassions, if I think that person really wants to discuss intelligently about the case, then i am very pleased.

So are there many people out there who have felt the same?

They accuse Atheists of being "mean spirited".They question why Atheists come to a religious forum, even though it is "religion AND spirituality" which many Atheists are spiritual and many more Atheists are directly or indirectly affected by religion as well.They see Atheists as an affront to their beliefs and whenever an Atheist points out their views, the Atheist is accused of insulting believers.

Now, I know what some of you might say.Atheists post this and that which says horrible things.True.But so do believers.I have seen an equal amount of nasty posts from believers and Atheists alike.But the point of all of this, is an exchange of ideas through questions and answers.Not, "you believe in God! Me too! Oh yeah". Why don't many of them get that?

My bedroom was downstairs, my mother and sister’s room is upstairs. I got up for work around 6 a.m. and it was still dark. I only turn on the light in my room to iron my clothes. I’m ironing my clothes and I thought I saw something white out of the side of my eye in the hallway go into the bathroom. (The bathroom door is kitty corner to my bedroom door.) But I said no it’s just me. But I could not ignore it so I looked and saw nothing. I went to work as usual. As soon as I got home my sister called me upstairs. She was like I saw something white in the living room this morning. The hair on my arms stood straight up! While she is talking she has tears in her eyes. When I told her what happened she just said “oh sh&t, stop playing”. But how would I know if she didn’t tell me until later. Earlier that morning she had fallen asleep downstairs on the couch and was awakened by my “mother” calling her upstairs. So she said “what?” But no one was there, just a white figure

The people in the apartment above me walk around so heavy the ceiling fan and dining room fixture actually shake and make noise, its very annoying. Also they constantly open cabinets and doors then slam them closed. Its been so bad they actually woke up my ten month old son.They wake up around ten every night and this goes on until about four a.m. Im guessing they sleep all day and annoy people all night. So I need some creative advice to annoy them as much as they annoy me. I know I could complain but revenge is so much more fun. Thanks everyone.
