I don't mean to actually get a new pc. I have them already. I just want to know how you can do the quick switch on a mac. Not that I will use the windows. I would just like to know how to do it.

If you're really asking: "How do I run Windows on a MAC?"

If your new Intel MAC came with OS X Leopard, Boot Camp (free) is included. You could also use VMware or Parallels (both $$). Google them for more info.

All 3 programs allow you to install a Full version of Windows XP or Vista (Upgrade disks won't work) as a second operating system.

For the step by step "How-To", google for: OSX XP dual boot

We can't be more specific here until you choose one of the 3, then, re-post and we can help.

well first you need to find out what you want on your new mac. if you have a home network you can make a shared folder to put all your music, pictures, videos, ect... into
then you'll have to find all the programs you use in windows (and if you want) find equivalent versions in mac.
if you want to use windows or vmware fusion or paralells. you should probably partition the hard drive. go to settings>utilities> disk utility and then go to the Partition tab. and under volume scheme select 2 partionons then make the second partion. next put your xp disk/vista disk in. install windows on the other partion and you boot to it /look at it by holding down the alt key when you turn on you mac.
then you need to get a REALLY sexy keyboard, mouse and a awsem looking monitor to compliment your sexy mac mini :)
