I would make Christmas ornaments. I would find a simple shape - a bell, a tree, a snowman - and cut two pieces of fabric out, stitching them together and stitching a little loop in the top to hang it from. Turn it inside out and stuff it. Then decorate it with buttons (for snowman eyes, or ornaments on the tree) and ribbons (for snowman's scarf or tree garlands.)
These should be simple, and people will use them. Also, they use smaller scraps of fabric, so you can use up odds and ends that you have left over from other projects. You can make quite a few of these at once, and then choose the nicest ones to give away.

Small decorator pillows! you only have 4 days to get these done, so get busy! You should be able to get them all done in maybe 2 days after you get the fabric and preformed pillow fillers.
I suggest the 12 inch square or round ones. Very easy to do. Do the lap back where you cut each side of the back 2/3 of the across measurement, hem one side, lap them then sew the around seams. Enjoy!!!
