What are some well-paying jobs? I'm currently a freshmen in undergrad school, but I'm completely willing to go to prof. school. I just have no idea what I want to do with my life. I want a career that is in demand, or is at least attainable if I get high grades. I also want something that has a high salary if I work hard. What are my options? If you're going to say law, what types of law are best to study?

I'm not asking for adjectives, but rather the overall thing in literature. I know one of them is "direct statement," in which the author describes the character's feelings. I believe the other two are dialogue and actions, although I'm not so sure about those two. I'm also not sure whether or not this is a matter of opinion, or just the way things actually are. Nevertheless, if you know anything, please post!

Ive been married less than a year. We moved to a new state, and he's made a friend with some girl from his work. They hang out and do lunch every week day, they do happy hour together, and now she's asked him to go into a business together and he accepted, when HE AND I were planning to start our own business. I've met her, at her housewarming party , she barely had two words to say to me. I dunno. I hate to feel so insecure, or even jealous. I haven't made any friends yet and I take lunch alone, all though I've asked if I could meet my husband for lunch but he blows me off, yet comes home with these marvelous stories of "guess where we went today for lunch?". I'm being totally gay, I think. But If I had a friend who was a guy, wouldn't HE be freaking out a little? What do I do??

the democractic candidates take the gloves off in the 2008 elections. Republicans (with the media's duplicity) always get to come off like they are the tough ones. The arguments often make no sense - but they are tough. Then the democrats like Kerry (sigh) come off with a good argument but bring it like an intellectual wimp. Who wants to see a democratic woop a** candidate? Who do you think that person is? I think Obama, personally. What do you think?

I suck at science. I'm spending most of my free time reading science books, but I'm afraid it does nothing for me. Do you think Richard Dawkins (pbuh) approves of atheists who are not good in this field? All I want him is to be proud of me.

I recently bought a 1998 fireblade and after running it fine for two weeks i left it out in the freezing cold for a couple of nights, after which it refused to start. The engine was cranking slowly so i assumed it was a simple flat battery. When the guy from the AA came over he charged it up and then kept the voltmeter on the battery while i revved the engine in order to check that it was charging properly. It showed the voltage increasing to over 20 volts at 6000rpm. the guy said that it shouldnt exceed 14 volts. Is this a problem with my rectifier or with my generator? or is it neither or both? How can i tell the difference? any help appreciated.

Hello does anyone have breast cancer? I was curious as to if you had any symptons prior to finding out. I have a lump and am a little afraid but going to the doctor to get it checked. My grandmother just passed away from breast cancer she had it but didnt know and never went to the doctor so we (the family) did not know until it was too late. I never got to ask her if she had any symptons but I am curious. Thanks

or is it just being self absorbed. the reason I ask is because I decided to take $100 out of my christmas this year and buy gifts for 2 of my friends who can't celebrate due to financial problems. I just called my dad to ask him to see if it was ok and he said he was very very proud of me and I could tell by his voice that he truly was and after I got off the phone I started to cry a little bit...now I feel really really self absorbed, and I wasn't crying because I was giving up my money...I could care less about money so i think i was just proud of myself? do you think that is self absorbed?

I just want to take things slow so I don't screw it up. Okay, so I really like this guy who works with me, and I think he might like me too. We flirt all the time, but I don't know how serious it is on his part. But I don't act that serious either . . . I don't/didn't want him to think that I like him yet. But ANYWAYS me and this other girl I work with who is my closest friend at work decided to pick secret crushes out at work. Well, I obviously didn't say the guy that I really like, but someone else who is nice but not my type. Well, my friend thought it would be funny to tell everyone we work with who my "secret crush" is, and now everyone thinks that I like this guy and they tease me all the time about it, and now the guy that I really do like is acting completely different toward me. :-( I still don't want him to think that I do like him yet, but I don't want him to think that I don't, either! I just want things to back the way they were. Please tell me what I should do :-)

Judaism were to create a religious sect that called itself the real Christianity because it rejected worship of and through Jesus but brought people to "fulfilled Christianity" through living in the same belief that Jesus followed.

We could show them how they honor Christianity by seeing Jesus as a fully human man who hoped to do the job of messiah but failed.
They could not celebrate Easter because it is is adapted Astarte/Isis fertility goddess worship and the celebration of the "rebirth" of Adonis/Tammuz bringing spring, where offerings of eggs and things associated with fecundity were given to placate those pagan deities. So to best honor Christianity and the faith of Jesus, they would have to eschew Easter and any attempt to believe that he was resurrected. That way they would be the REAL and "fulfilled" Christians.
Jews won't do this absurd thing, but would it make Christians see how wrong it is to call Christianity Judaism? It should offend good Christians, too. Shalom.

I know the rule for transposing bassoon to baritone saxophone is supposed to be subtract 3 flats and add 3 sharps but i still don't understand it. what if the bassoon part doesn't have any flats...do i just have 3 sharps?

or what if it has 2 flats...do i have 1 sharp or no sharp? AHH this is so confusing. Any help in detail would be greatly appreciated.

by the way i'm going from bass clef to treble clef if your wondering.
