the democractic candidates take the gloves off in the 2008 elections. Republicans (with the media's duplicity) always get to come off like they are the tough ones. The arguments often make no sense - but they are tough. Then the democrats like Kerry (sigh) come off with a good argument but bring it like an intellectual wimp. Who wants to see a democratic woop a** candidate? Who do you think that person is? I think Obama, personally. What do you think?

Prancing. Repubs have a lot to answer for - and that is totally legit and for a reason. THE LAST 8 years. Will they think for themselves or will they tow they party line like always. And for the second part about Dems not getting tough questions please see link below.

Great question...I've been saying the same thing lately!!! I mean, tell it like it is, people...this dumbass who calls himself President LIED to start a war, LIED to out a CIA agent whose husband made him look bad, LIED about illegal wire tapping, LIED (and continues to LIE) about torturing prisoners, LIED when he said he would defend and uphold the constitution. I am sick and tired of Republicans acting like they can take the higher ground, when this country has been driven into the ground over the past 7 years and it's probably going to take 20 years to undo all the damage done. So, yeah, I'd love to see a Dem stand up and call them out.
I like Obama too. I like Kucinich but I don't think he has a chance...he's labeled as a kook for trying to impeach the LIAR Dick Cheney.

I don't want to see a repeat of what happened in 1980 when Kennedy and Carter split the Democratic party and helped ensure Reagan's win. Granted there were many other issues that year. However the 2008 election will be so close that division within the party won't help and could ultimately cost the Dem's the election.

I'm not a Democrat, but it would be nice for them to present a candidate that would fight for our issues. Instead we have Clinton and as soon as she gets the Democratic nod I gaurantee she will not put forth any ground breaking plan or specific goals. She will merely stay in the middle, use big words and catch phrases like "bring integrity back to the white house" or " values to the country." (what exactly is the plan then) This is how she will energize her base. And they won't care that she doesn't bring anything specific, because she is "the other guy." and that is all her base cares about. Her base is voting for her merely because she is not Bush and that is good enough for them. She will pull a John Kerry. You watch. Remember... When asked tough questions, he would say " I have a plan for that," but wouldn't ever say what it was. He would go on to say " I know General John Smith, I talked to Lt Bob Walters, and Capt, Bill Billingsly....and I have a plan for that." What ever your issue was ...he had a plan for it. People saw right through him. He had no plan. It was obvious. Trust me, Clinton will do the same thing. She does not want to be held to anything she says. She will continue to vote in the middle of every issue. And the fact that most Democrats are not intellectually honest enough to at least see that is scary. They should be ashamed of her, and ashamed of themselves for not wanting to put a real candidate in office who has guts to at least fight for solving the nations issues.

Sorry, but in the dem camp there are no more Jack Kennedy's around. I think Bobby would have made a good President if that towel head had not killed him.
The whole lot of dem candidates are seriously flawed. Most of the GOP candidates are as well.
I'm going with an unknown: Duncan Hunter.

I read a study in which they said whether you are Conservative or Liberal can be partially determined at birth. They gave an example of MLK and Malcolm X. Mlk wanted peace, he wanted people to sit down, negotiate, and work out our differences and problems in a logical manner , the way democrats want. He was very much in favor of non violent resistance. MLK was also 5'8"
Malcolm X basically said treat me like a man or i'll kick your ***, and "by any means necessary" Although black, in philosophy he is more Republican. He was also 6'5"
The reason Dems seem weaker, it's because physically, they are. Barrack Obama may be half black, and in our society black men are portrayed in an ultra masculine hyper sexual manner, but when compared to Mitt Romney or McCain, our Thompson, Barrack comes across as Rather feminine and weak

...I think you've confused the Republican party with the Democrat party for half of your question.
The overwhelming majority of Media is "Strongly" slanted to the left... so far, it's almost a branch of the DNC.
It has always been the Democrats that sling the mud... the problem Hillary is having now is she tried the mud slinging in her own party and discovered that many will not accept this when it's aimed at a Black candidate.
If you disagree... (and I'm certain you do, because you sound like the typical "Misinformed, uninformed or Disinformed Liberal) I challenge you to show me debate questions posed to Dem candidates that are anywhere NEAR as tough as the question posed to the Republicans. Go ahead... show me.

Personally, I'd like to see Kucinich go up against Ron Paul in the general election...though I doubt the ignorant and partisan electorate could deal with such frank realities as those two men would have the entire country duking it out.
