I suck at science. I'm spending most of my free time reading science books, but I'm afraid it does nothing for me. Do you think Richard Dawkins (pbuh) approves of atheists who are not good in this field? All I want him is to be proud of me.
I don't want to be a bad atheist. Am I going to suffer in the Ignohell if I don't keep trying harder?

Do not mix up Science and athism. These are two differnt things.
Atheist need a scientifc approch and not physics or chemistry . they are the people who listen to reason rather than blind faith.
They do not accept anything without evidence, especially in religious matters.
And ""Richard Dawkins" to be proud of you is totally non consequential for you to be an atheist. Maybe a scientist yes, for an atheist no.
And there are no bad or a good atheist. you are an atheist or you are not. same as it is for a believer. i dont get the idea of a bad believer at all.
And if you are a bad atheist or a bad believer, people around you suffer, not you.Lol

You don't have to be good at alot to be a good "atheists" It is hard to prove that there "is not a Creator" that is what makes it hard. The more you study science, space, the theory's of evolution the more Proof there is that there Has to be a Creator. We did not happen "Just by chance" If you listen to your spirit and soul you know that already. If you did not you would not be asking the question. But I am open minded and certainly do not want you to think "I" am trying to judge you. This is simply something for you to think about. I wish you the best of luck in which ever way you go.

Good news! Atheism is not a religion! I don't know if you got the email or not....
You don't have to worry about being a good atheist or a bad atheist, just BE man!
Although I would be remiss if I neglected to answer your question:
You could be a "better atheist" by simply being a better human being. Love and respect the earth and all that lives on it. Make others happy, do good deeds. Then you will be a better human being, and since an atheist is a type of human being you will be a better atheist indirectly.

What does knowing about science have to do with being an atheist? It is often a path that leads people to that conclusion, but it isn't the only one. It isn't even the one most based in reason.

It helps to know science, but it helps more to be able to think logically. Remember that you MUST look at the evidence, and that means all of it, not just the pieces that seem to support your views -- indeed, you must scrutinize with particular care any evidence that seems to go against those views. This is something that every scientist does, as a matter of routine.

You need to put all your science books in the center of your room and bend over towards them 5 times a day, you also need to go to a library on Sundays and Wednesdays, also do not touch a believer since they have a disease that can spread really quickly.

You need the Lord. Atheism has nothing to offer you. Dawkins is not a god, even though there are only two religions: God and man. Dawkins chose man a long time ago.
