I'm not asking for adjectives, but rather the overall thing in literature. I know one of them is "direct statement," in which the author describes the character's feelings. I believe the other two are dialogue and actions, although I'm not so sure about those two. I'm also not sure whether or not this is a matter of opinion, or just the way things actually are. Nevertheless, if you know anything, please post!

Courage, humor and honesty Do you mean first, second and third person? Or narrative? I'm a bit confused because your question is a bit confusing. I'm sorry.

Now, if you posted one sentence from a book that includes 1st, 2nd and 3rd persons in the sentence or paragraph, I can dissect it and tell you what parts of speech they are and you can go from there.

If you posted the entire assignment question, I think you would get more accurate answers from the people trying to help you.

What have you been reading in class?

Do you have a classmate's phone number so that you can call and find out what the teacher said that you are unclear about?

Does the teacher have a website where there might be more directions/info?

Best wishes
