Just take it easy, take a couple of deep breaths and relax everyday. Dont think negatively. Everythings gonna be fine, its probably just stress, and climbing stairs and running are naturally supposed to increase the heart rate! so dont fret at all.
The tightness could be due to acidity and gas in some cases. Eat less spicy food, avoid fried stuff. Take a calm walk when u feel so,
Abt the abortion, I know how it feels, very depressing, I had one due to some complications, and I wanted a baby then. It brings you down for a while, but then one gets over it nad life goes on..
Though to relieve your anxiety, your best bet is to see a free clinic / doctor. (depends on where you live - find one) or post another question on yahoo asking abt free clinics in ur area.
take a chill pill. Lifes fun, enjoy it, dont weigh yourself down with negative thoughts.
Take care

3 things -
It could be gas. Yes, gas. A gas bubble can go anywhere. Do you burp a lot? Lay off the coffee and fried foods for a while to see if that helps.
It could be hyperthyroidism. Check the web to see if you have any other signs. THe heart beat thing is one of them, but it is usually a rapd heartbeat most of the time, even at rest.
It could also be anxiety / depression. Try breathing through the worry times. In and out, saying, I am Ok, I am Ok, etc.
I used to have both of these things/

Trying to become a doctor and working at a hospital I'll tell you its probally stress. If you've had an abortion that makes stress. Then when you start to worry about whats wrong with you it creates more stress.
I'm going to say its probally just stress, becuase I had the same pain about 2 years ago. But just to make sure your okay you should ask your doctor is you can have an echocardio gram.
But my best bet would be the stress and becuase the abortion hurt you emotionally and creats stress.

How did you get a bruised muscle? Are you sure it isn't a torn muscle? Sweetie, go to the emergency room if you live in the USA and tell them you are having chest pain. They cannot turn you away. It could be a number of things. Go to the ER as it could be very serious. Good luck.

There are so many things it could be.
Good news is, your young so it's probably not cardiac related, I say probably because anything is possible. Other possibilities include paricarditis, gallstones, hiatal hernia, too much caffine or energy drinks, anything that irritates the heart can cause irregular heart rhythm.
Go to the ER and get checked out. Better to be safe.

I would suggest getting checked out by a doc. That being said, nutrition could be a factor. A b-complex capsule TWICE a day made a big difference for me on heartbeat regularity.

stress..!!!.., and your mind is playing games to you.
Go to some one to take your blood pressure if you are normal, Change you eating habits eat healthy no caffeine , and start some exercise like walking around your place.
It is all in your head , worries make fanny things in your body and the ability to function well .
Also please read this book @ the library"IS IT WORTH DYING FOR?this book make stress work for you NOT against you.( By Robert Eliot And Dennis Breo)
I hope this will help you.
. Be well.

Im not sure.. my best advice would be to check it out, but it seems you cant..
It might be panic attacks ?
I had them for months, and i got tightness in my chest, racing heartbeat all the time, sweaty palms, etc.
Not sure though,
all in all, find a way to get that checked!!!

With depression you could be having panic attacks. You need to talk to someone about your feelings. Go to your doctor and tell him/her about the pains in your chest.
