I'm a Brit, right back to a bad hiccup in my Family Tree in the early 1600's with a marriage of a Beniamin Bourgoyne and a Gatherude Rue.
Sometimes you have to make a wild guess at English-speaking Nationality by the odd spelling, like color instead of colour. I do try and make it clear that I'm in the UK if it matters to the context.

I think you only see UK questions, but many of the answers are from Americans. That's cos they choose to see all English language stuff.
Although why most of them still seem to assume that we're all from their country is not something I have ever fathomed.
