My son is in third grade. He's a twin and he and his sister were born prematurely. His emotional growth has always trailed a bit which my husband and I believe is pretty common in premature babies.

My son really struggles with personal responsibility in general. This year, in third grade, his teachers have stopped babying him. Last year, the last 2 six week he was on A honor role. The first six weeks this year all C's and one A. He hadn't been bring home his work so I emailed his teacher. Apparently he isn't doing his classwork.

I really don't know what to do because he is completing his homework. I like the fact that his teacher this year isn't holding his hand but he's not getting it. He is 8 years old and is capable of being a responsible for completing and turning in his classwork.

Does anyone have any similar experiences they could share to assist my husband and I in helping him? Please don't leave a comment if you aren't serious. We really appreciate your help.

Harry Potter(ALL OF THEM)
George R. R. Martins Tale of Fire and Ice
just about every other fantasy and movie/book that contains a religious belief.

More than likely I have fallen way behind in my pre-cal class and I don't know what sin x or cos x is in terms of tan x. I read up everything in the book and nothing is addressed for tan x, so I guess the book doesn't tell you everything. I guess I have to actually go to a tutor for the first time in my life... sux.

I asked this question before, but I've decided to re-post with less details so you can concentrate less on the details of our relationship and more what I'd like to know.

My boyfriend recently decided that he may want to join the US Army. But for financial purposes only. He wants to be a mechanic and earn money in order to get the both of us out of our financial bind. We're working to pay off school and since money doesn't grow on trees, it's not easy. We're both young, 22 & 23. However, we're not struggling...

He's not happy with our situations right now. (And neither am I) So his reason for signing up is to take care of us. He wants to pay for our tution and get us an apt, then take things from there.

Although he doesn't want to be behind an M-16, He can still be sent to Iraq and be put in harms way. If not Iraq, then somewhere else for who knows how long. I'm trying to be supportive, but he KNOWS I don't want him to go How can we possibly see eye to eye? And should I be worried

A few other questions~~

If you're somewhat behind on child support, can you get your license reinstated (or at least get an occupational drivers license) if you're keeping up on your current payments and making payments towards your arrears?

The reason I ask is because, not long ago, my father became unemployed due to a severe back injury. (He has a minor child with a woman other than my mother.) His disability payments haven't been enough to keep up on his child support obligation. As a result, he is now behind by a little more than $5000. He was recently informed by his insurance company that his driver's license has been suspended due to failure to pay support. However, he never received notice. And he is now worried that he will be unable to get to and from work when he is finally able to resume his regular activities and begin paying the entirety of his monthly support obligation.

Any information and advice will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Episode - Milhouse Doesn't Live Here Anymore

Homer realizes that he hasn't gotten anything for his anniversary with Marge. He gets extremely drunk and finds himself ‘dancing' and 'singing' on the street where people, thinking he is homeless, start giving him money.

There are no words but he sings this in a tune:
Na na naa naa na, na na nanananana

What song is he "na-na-na-ing"? (=P)

7 reasons not to mess with children.

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.
The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small. The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale. Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible. The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah". The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?" The little girl replied, "Then you ask him ".

A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work. As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was. The girl replied, "I'm drawing God." The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like." Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, "They will in a minute."

A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds. After explaining the commandment to "honor" thy Father and thy Mother, she asked, "Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?" Without missing a beat one little boy (the oldest of a family) answered, "Thou shall not kill."

One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?" Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white." The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, "Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?"
The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture. "Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer,' or 'That's Michael, He's a doctor.' A small voice at the back of the room rang out, "And there's the teacher, she's dead."

A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said, "Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face." "Yes," the class said. "Then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet? "A little fellow shouted,
"Cause your feet ain't empty."

The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head o f the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray: "Take only ONE. God is watching." Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples.
