The US can't stand another year of Bush. He should be removed from office now! No enemy could harm the US as much as the Bush/Cheney cabal!

Excited, yes, but not in a good way. My children, grandchildren and their grandchildren will be paying for this war. The Bush and Cheney family fortunes should be appropriated and used towards paying for this war. The oil companies should be taxed at minimum 50% of their profits to help offset the cost.
Our country is so deeply in debt to the Chinese we can't even sell War Bonds.

Gee... and Obama is off in Australia telling them how issues are looking up and he's turning each little thing around. If we ever needed data that this guy is a LIAR, properly this is in basic terms extra data.

In that the figure you quoted includes both the "normal" military budget as well as additional expenditures associated with the war,I am neither excited nor panicked.
When you take into account the Gross National Product of the United States(we are still #1 in the world),the 1.5Trillion is a small price to pay to prevent attacks against the U.S. as well as other free nations of the world.

I prefer that price to the number lost on 9/11. In fact, I'd be down right joyous if the Defense Budget was doubled.

Seems like money is much more important than helping our soldiers stay alive. We should hang our heads in shame.

How come when terrorist attack they kill innocents and working people? People like you never have to suffer the consequences of 8 years of Clinton's pacifism?
Is it because terrorists attack corporations and business not waffle houses?
