I do not get manicures very often, due to the fact that my cuticles are often picked at and sometimes even have a scab or too. Sorry, I know that is gross. Are there certian creams to use that can make them look better, less cracked? please advise. Thanks.

Am I right to say this? I am a strong beliver in first apperance and I tell my 9 year old son, and 7 & 5 year old daughters to choose friends by the clothes they wear and their looks. I honestly don't want my kids being around kids that don't wear named brand clothes. I think it's working very well, my kids have pretty looking friends. I don't want them having "unattractive" friends.

Okay, From what ive heard, if you OWN something...JUST OWNING IT.

You still have to pay tax. Like a car or a house,

You own it, you already paid tax on it when you bought it, this seems so illogical and injust.

is this true, wtf.

Now, I know MOST things the government does can be explained with atleast a small amout of logic behind it.

I win the lottery and get a lump sum, I pay ALL the income tax on it (How is it 50%) That should be it, I should never have to deal with the govt again if I quit my job and just live off my money, I don't earn anymore money, so why should I have to pay tax. (Except for sales tax)

my boyfriend is in the air force and is currently deployed. hes going to be away til march. since hes going to miss christmas i wanted to make a slide show type deal with pictures and videos of the family while he is away. taking pictures at every holiday, birthday parties, the ball dropping on new years, you know just about everything. but i need some songs that i can have the pictures playing to. any song ideas?

were both pretty big country fans. but listen to almost anything as well.

I just got an $800 estimate for a brake job...looks like my rotors need replacing, not just the pads. How often will a mechanic make something like this up (i.e. maybe just the pads need replacing and he's lying) and should i get a second opinion before i let him do it? Thanks.

hey im having trouble deciding on getting a ESP EC-500 or a Epiphone Les Paul Custom(wine red). And could anybody tell me about any problems or anything about eaither one? There both in the $600 rage. Iv red the EC-500 plays better but its got a ugly finish but the epi has a beautiful finis so im kinda back and forwth on it. I know they both play nice but im just looking for a guitar to upgrade from my Silvertone Revolver and i can grow with. thanks

At the current summit in Europe, Putin has stated his opposition to Bush &Co. proposition to make a ring of nuclear weapons in Europe. He states this violates previous agreements the US has with Russia and that if it is done, he will have no other recourse but to respond the same way Kennedy did during the Cuban Missile Crisis. So, same thing? If not, why? If it is, isn't it just one more way that Bush is pushing US colonialism on the rest of the world?

I'm really worried. Okay, I'll try to explain: There's me, and there's my two best friends. Let's just call them E and S.
Since we were 6, me and S were molestered by E's dad. Which E still has no clue about. I'm 13, and recently told my parents, and they told S's mum. But me and S REALLY don't want to tell E's mum about her dad abusing us because her family is so close mine. E is my best friend and I would hate to hurt her by telling her about her dad. And I would hate to hurt the rest of the family. But then, she could be getting abused by her dad, because she absolutely hates her dad. So my parents want to tell. I've asked E why she hates her dad, and she said she doesn't know, it's just everything he does. But she's also said she wouldn't like it if he died, whereas, after being molestered by him, me and S wouldn't mind if he died (I know it sounds SO horrible, but I feel that way, I suppose it's different since it's E's dad tho) ...(2 b continued)

When I have a cold I blow my nose constantly. Sometimes, I blow and cough at the same time...it almost seems like a reflex. When I do this, a mass will come out. This isn't your normal mucous. It is round and can get as large in diameter as a dime. This usually only happen once or twice during each cold. And it's firm...almost spongy. Usually it is greenish-brown, but last night about half of it was bloody. What IS this thing?! I know it's gross...but if this happens to you or you know what it is, please let me know! :)

Then you ask them to come again and they say they'd love to as soon as they get some free time. Then they ask how long you'll be around (as you're going to go travelling). You then ask when is their next vac'n and they say they are thinking about going to visit their parents (overseas) for that break. Then they say 'we'll see', what exactly do they mean?
