Personally, I've been listening to The Batles since I was very young.
My father brought their music upon me, and i love them.

Anyone else have a particular interest in them?
(:

Love the Beatles. Hopefully, you have, or will, see the movie "Across the Universe" in which the story is told through Beatles songs song by the characters. It also has many subtle references to Beatles songs you should look for while watching. There's a character named Prudence who comes in through the bathroom window. When another character asks her where she came from, she says "no where, man. What I appreciate so much about the Beatles is that their music evolved. They did not get stuck in a commercial rut. How can you compare "I Want To Hold You Hand" with the music on the white album? Few groups ever grew in skill, artistry and social commentary to the extent of the Beatles and Lennon and Harrison, in particular, continued that growth after they broke up. Harrison's music for Bangladesh is completely unique. BTW, the version of "I Want to Hold Your Hand" in the movie "Across the Universe" is beautiful. Please go see this movie--I've seen it 3 times, which is highly unusual for me.

The Beatles are classic - John Lennon and Paul McCartney wrote some fantastic tunes and lyrics - anyone who has an interest in music should listen to The Beatles music if they can. Also check out John Lennon solo stuff and Paul McCartney solo and Wings - don't forget George Harrison too - Ringo didn't do much solo.
The world has lost two of these 'greats' and is much worse off because of it.

Well sure. I watched them live on TV when I was a boy. The young women/girls were feinting right and left at the stadium.

Yes, of course. The only problem is their music has been grossly overexposed. It is TOO familiar. There's no surprise element of new discovery.
