Sad day, attended a funeral. Didn't want to cook. Rang 4 pizza. They told me my order would arrive in 30 minutes. 1 hour later - no pizza - I rang...
I said "when did I place my order? why haven't I got it yet?" she fumbled they left 20 minutes ago and should arrive any second. (my house is 5 minutes drive from pizza store).
The pizza guy arrived 10 minutes later. He had his uniform on, but his girlfriend with him. She came up to the door with him, giggling with our bottle of Pepsi. I gave them the money and no tip. they left.

I rang the pizza shop - i was really angry - my 4 kids had been waiting so long! - i said in a really sarcastic voice "my pizza is finally here - it only took 1 1/2 hours - and do you normally have a "team" to deliver it?" I told her about the delivery guy coming with a girl and that I live just 5 minutes away. I told them I would never buy pizza from them again. (the pizza was actually really delicious.....but I'm embarrassed to use them)

Years ago I used to go through the drive through 2 or 3 times a week, and then it went down to 2 or 3 times a month, right now I couldn't tell you the last time I ate fast food!

Well I am a college student and work part time at target 3-4 times a week. After 2 months of workign there i realized something today...

My best friend at Target is a 50 year old woman... We are always talking and have our lunch and breaks together and i just think shes cool and she gives me a ride back to my dorm building since she lives close to campus.

Its not like shes a child molester or anything, shes just cool but has anything like this ever happened to you... had a best friend at your workplace who is like 50 or 60?

I found a place in Salt Lake City that will send toys to girls and boys in Iraq.

We usually give a donation to a local charity, but this year we have a special reason for wanting to give to children in different countries who could use some joy and fun, for a change. Babies, small children, teens. They all need a little love.

Genocide is defined as "the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group." There are still Armenians around...hence there wasn't a genocide. How can you recognize something that didn't happen? You want to say a tradegy in Armenian history where hundreds of thousands possibly died...ok. But to call it a genocide when it wasn't? Now that's asking for more pity. Anyone wanna care to explain how the US government or the idiots on the House decided on this? I mean...a tradegy yes...genocide? NO!!!

I have to go for surgery to remove a breast lump (not known what it is yet) & I noticed in my surgery package it says to stop taking all medications including herbal supplements 2 weeks before. Do I really have to stop taking my whole food supplement?

My husband and I attend a southern baptist church. I've not been to a baptist church since I was a young kid. I've been non denominational. I'm not sure why I dislike our church so much. I loved it when we first started going there. One of my biggest problems right now is probably that my husband is so involved I feel like it's taking too much time away from us. We both work and his job is an hour away so he's away from home for 11 hours every day. I work a few evenings. I work at a christian bookstore so the only time I'm guarenteed to be home which is wednesday night and sunday, he's busy at church. He plays in a band that is working with the youth and I feel like what he's doing is important but I hate that he's gone all day long on sunday. He does a small group with the band then a small group with the youth band then the band practices. I hate it! What should I do?

After so much evidence has been presented flying in the face of horoscopes, why do people still believe in them? That the time of the year you were born on determines anything about your life besides when you celebrate your birthday is ludicrous.

So, horoscope believers, why do you believe in horoscopes after being shown evidence that they're completely fake? Do you enjoy wasting your time reading future predictions that you know aren't true?

It wasn't long ago that I made the connection between fluorescent lights and the headaches I was getting. Is there any way to prevent them?

It seems like fluorescent lights are everywhere now a days. A year ago I thought it might be a good idea to replace all the bulbs in the house with them. I thought that I could save energy and make my electric bill go down. This was not the case. In fact a few bulbs died out after 6 months of use. This was way before the 5 year warranty the package had promised. I plan on replacing these bulbs with the "full-spectrum" type lights very soon.

I read somewhere that fluorescent light also increases your risk of diseases such as cancer. Is this true?
