I think one of my dogs got a percocet tablet that I'm using for my broken leg and I want to make sure she'll be alright.

THE GOOD NAPKINS...ahhhhh...the joys of having girls...

My mother taught me to read when I was four years old (her first mistake)....

One day, I was in the bathroom and noticed one of the cabinet doors was ajar. I read the box in the cabinet. I then asked my mother why she was keeping 'napkins' in the bathroom. Didn't they belong in the kitchen?

Not wanting to burden me with unnecessary facts, she told me that those were for "special occasions" (her second mistake)...

Now, fast forward a few months...It's Thanksgiving Day, and my folks are leaving to pick up my uncle and his wife for dinner. Mom had assignments for all of us while they were gone. Mine was to set the table.

When they returned, my uncle came in first and immediately burst into laughter.

Next, in came his wife who gasped, then began giggling.

Next, in came my father, who roared with laughter.

Then in came Mom, who almost died of embarrassment when she saw each place setting on the table with a "special occasion" napkin at each plate, with the fork carefully arranged on top. I had even tucked the little tail in so they didn't hang off the edge!!

My mother asked me why I used these and, of course, my response sent the other adults into further fits of laughter.

"But, Mom, you SAID they were for special occasions!!!"

Isn't it easier to just tell the truth and be careful who you ask to set the table for you!

I am 24 female, almost 25.

I have never been in a serious relationship. I have had very high expectations and I DEFINATELY know that being obese has not helped.

I was a late bloomer, my first bf was when I was almost 20. Then a year later I got into a really bad car accident and over a year of not being able to move I gained 75 pounds.

I thought people would judge me on the inside but that is not how men are.

So now I am losing weight and also losing hope in finding someone who cares for me.

Why is it so hard to find a nice guy that is educated and around my age to love me?

I answer questions on the mental health category...and I hesitate to suggest that their voices might be spirits (but sometimes I do) Just don't want to lead anyone astray. I always tell them to go to their family dr. too about it. You know psychiatrist don't believe about spirits. How would you advise them?

I remember a long time ago when I was younger...I can't exactly remember how old, but I'd say in the range of 9-12 years old...I would get extremely nervous about my mother not coming home or something...like I was afraid she was going to get into an accident or get hurt by someone. I really have NO idea how this started, there was nothing that happened to create this feeling, my dad was always there, and there was nothing wrong.

I remember many times, she would go shopping on Thursday nights...around 8 or 9 PM. Around the time she was supposed to be getting back (about an hour or so after she left), I would watch out the window for her car pulling in the drive way while I watched TV. Sometimes I would think she was late, and get extremely panicked. I would get very nervous and fearful that something had happened. Then she always ended up pulling in, and I felt so relieved, it was very strange.

I've had him for 2 weeks. He won't eat any of his food-pellets, worm fishy food). I don't see that he's had a bowl movement. He just seems to be losing energy and color, so I'm worried...any advice?? P.S. He's only survived because the only food he'll eat is chicken, but I haven't fed him this lately since fish food is healthier (however, he won't touch the fish food even though that's the only food I give him).
