Hi, I've been playing my acoustic guitar for about 2 years now and I want to buy my first electric. Out of these 2, which do you think is better and more long-lasting? Also, how do you feel about the guitars on Ebay? Thanks.

I would choose the Les Paul

Okay, the problem is, they are both good! I have one of each, because, sometimes I like the tinty sound of the Fender, and then sometimes I like the deep wood sound of the Les Paul ! They'll both last a long time! If at all possible, buy one of each, or do what I did, I would get my friends to let me play theirs, just to get the 'feel" of them, then I would buy one like it!
I personally prefer buying a guitar at musiciansfriend.com, instead of E-bay, because I know what I'm gonna get!
