the drainer/plug in the sink has tarnished and gone form shiny chrome to a brown mess. have tried soaking in brown sauce like you do with coins but this didnt help. i dont want to use abrasives.

They are woeful. There music is terrible. The guys voice makes you want to kick the radio. Yet, they get so much airplay. Are they really that popular? Am I just not getting it? I think they are about as far as commercial rubbish can go. Your opinion....

I have been interviewing for a position at work offering a good salary / package and great working enviourment.
This position has been really difficult to fill as while the role needs a good level of mixed skills, it is demanding.

I'm finding that most people coming for the interview only wish to have a 9-5 job and an easy life so do people these days want a career and put thier heart and soul into it or just an easy job to pay the bills ?

A young man wanted to get his beautiful blonde wife something nice for their first wedding anniversary. So he decides to buy her a cell phone. She is all excited, she loves her phone. He shows her and explains to her all the features on the phone.

What has the combined work of the ongoing Hate Campaign directed toward the McCanns actually achieved.

Further to my question yesterday i plucked up the courage to call my local free counselling service. They said that they could not accept me as they only offer short term counselling and they felt i needed something more long term. I asked if there was any other free services in the area and there aren't! I really really need help but i cant afford to go private! What can i do? I cant ask my parents to help as they dont know and telling them is not an option. What can i do now? Why wont anybody help me? I just feel like ending it all! Nobody cares about me! I was brave enough to ask for help and i cant get any!

I am the 1990-91 Iraq War negotiator http://peacenegotiator.blogspot.com. I am a loyal American. I wish that what I have to say about the Iraq War could be published in every newspaper around the entire world. I am an idealist and Christian (former Muslim) and all I see on the Internet concerning Iraq is either outright lies or US government propaganda. Sometimes, many times, our government lies and tries to shut out the truth. Good people are killed, murdered, along the way, loyal Americans and agents, who are trying their best to foster pure goodness in this world. IS ANYONE INTERESTED IN GOODNESS and the saving of American lives???

The debate continues. Was the moon landing faked? What would settle this issue is a telescopic photo showing the moon buggy where the astronauts left it on the moon. If the moon buggy is there, obviously we went to the moon and this debate would be settled.

They say that we are naturally born to sleep at night and be awake during the day but that is not the case with me. I CANNOT sleep at night. I used to work dayshift but I was always so tired during the day. Now that I work a "graveyard" shift I am full of energy at night and I sleep soundly during the day. Of course that is with the help of Tylenol Simply Sleep. I mostly take it because it helps keep me stay asleep during the day while my loud *** neighbors do their daily WWE tryouts upstairs. Yes I live in an apartment. I work the weekend graveyard shift and they have weekends off and they are awake during the day. The only side effect I've had from Tylenol Simply Sleep is really weird dreams. All it is really is an antihistamine. I would assume this is good for a cold. It also helps with my allergies believe it or not. I definitely don't take them during my regular work hours when my allergies kick up. That would be bad. My job is dangerous enough lol.

i remember as far back as 11 years old when my parents would yell at me to go to bed and i'd lay there for hours and not sleep. now i'm 21 and it still seems like no matter what i do i CAN'T GET TO SLEEP.

my usual pattern will start out on very little sleep (about 2-3 hours, sometimes less) and i'll be miserable all day but at night i'll still have a hard time getting to sleep. next night i'll get maybe 4 hours of sleep. then the next night i will CRASH and go to bed around 10 or 11 (which is INCREDIBLY early for me). then that night i absolutely can't get to sleep and the whole cycle starts over again.

i try not to take naps and i exercise at least 4 times a week. i also try to stay off the computer at night.

i'm a bit scared to take sleeping pills because i don't want to be dependant, but here it is almost 6am and I HAVE CLASS IN 3 HOURS and i haven't been to sleep even though i got up at 9:30am!

should i give sleep meds a try and if so which should i ask my doctor about?

I just wonder if people are fed up with the shops pushing Christmas at everyone from October and if it will get to be like Easter, which was a fairly big deal in the 60's but now no-one really bothers. ( I mean no offence to Christians btw, I mean the commercialism of it all)
