What has the Hate Campaign achieved ?

What has the combined work of the ongoing Hate Campaign directed toward the McCanns actually achieved.
Nothing, thats what, absolutely nothing.
The sum total of all the postings made on this site by the amateur Sherlocks is a big fat nothing.
It will always come down to one cast iron fact.
the McCanns are Innocent until proven guilty and all the crap posted on here accusing them of every crime known to man is just a meaningless waste of time.
The McCanns have been found guilty of nothing.

one thing it hasn't achieved is taught ppl to spell properly. it winds me up summat chronic when ppl cant even be bothered to spell the poor child's name properly. MADDIE NOT MADDY. shows complete lack of respect.

one thing it has shown me is how some ppl can be so cruel, misguided and delusional. one minute Maddie has been killed by her parents and put in a fridge the next minute she's been captured by aliens, wild theories and speculation beyond belief, it amazes me how so many can base these parents guilt on stories made up by the press just to sell papers. if the sun told them the PJ sources had leaked the story that the moon was made of cheese they would believe it.

police investigation has turned up NO evidence at all, it will probably be one of those cases that never gets solved and will remain a mystery which is very sad. its a shame that we cant all remember that a small child is missing and how she may have or may be feeling before we post such vileness towards her family who she loves very much.

I am well aware that, at the time of its writing, the Quran was a very compassionate document. But you now have that the very right-wing fruitcake fringe (don't be offended, the christians have theirs too) that blows things up and is very rigidly anti-everything, and these are the ones that get the publicity. And the "mainstream" Muslims tolerate these fruitcakes. If you would crack down on them, people could respect you a lot more. I know there are good Muslims. I've also known a couple of christian ladies that had muslim husbands and they were @assholes. So you need to clean up your act. Sorry, I want to respect you as a religion, but you make it awful hard by your own behavior problems. Blessings on your Journey!

I don't see any harm in speculation, it's only natural when a case is in the papers every day. Some have gone beyond speculation and have posted outrageous comments, which is a different matter. Most of those responsible for the latter are the current bullies, who are now also attacking other users.

As the pro McCanns have achieved so much on this site and have found Maddy alive and well with a rich family in Morocco you mean? Lets face it. No one is helping Madeleine anyway so what difference does it make whether you put the parents down for neglecting her or not?

Well said, the hate campaign has achieved nothing!
And to all those slagging the parents off saying the on going 'find Madeleine' campaign has achieved nothing, she is STILL one of the most recognisable 4 year olds in the world and you are still talking about her!
The Portuguese Police are the ones who should have achieved something by now.

It's sad that so many people have such empty lives that they post endless 'questions' condemning the McCanns without a shred of empathy, compassion or respect for their human rights.

I hope that poor little girl is found and returned to her parents, but there seem to be many out there who would prefer to see the children in care and the parents in prison - no matter what.

Just a note: I maybe wrong but the intrigue factor in this case has made this case very visible everywhere. While I am sure those accusations are making the parents life hell,If It's any consolation, their daughter is the most talked about and recognised child in the world at the moment because of them.

I am quite prepared to give anyone the benefit of the doubt but even you must admit that they are guilty of abandoning 3 small children to the endangerment of one of them. Surely that in itself is a criminal offence. their eldest daughter would still be with them if they had behaved in a more responsible way. This is not the behaviour of any doctor I would entrust myself or my families health to. I realise this will not be a popular answer but I am entitled to my opinion & you did ask for it.
