Yes, and more than once. Time mends a broken heart. You have to keep living and still try to enjoy your life even when your heart is miserable. Stay busy, become active with sports, hobbies, or community work. The more you do for others, will help you keep your mind off what is bothering you. You have to keep in mind, that this is not the end of the world and life goes on. Also, things happen for a reason and only God knows what is best for us.
Broken hearts make you stronger and smarter when it comes to relationships. They help us grow up and they get us ready for the relationship that was meant for us. So don't be sad and don't be angry at the person who broke your heart. In the long run, they might have just did you a favor.
And if you are a really good person, they probably will come back looking for you one day. They will always wonder what happened to you or how you are doing. (So relax and smile)

I have had my heart broken. You can't mend a broken heart, it mends itself with time.
